Ladies and Gentlemen, (mainly ladies in this thread!) I hate to do this, but our friend here needs serious help. With multiple worthless posts of a sexual nature, our friend Hanzie a.k.a. Jeff is in need of something. Now what that something is I have yet to discover. I can confidently say that it is not the need for speed hence the ownership of a Honda S2000, yet something is missing, some THING. I shall further investigate this lacking in our Hanzie and when I find out by god, I will do WHATEVER it takes to get this "thing" too him.

Hey Jeff, did you find everything on the photo CD?

well, I just called Ennis and talked to someone

she said they haven't cancelled anything yet, they probably wouldn't know until 4:00 today.

You dog !!!

But you got to get to Inferno's 1st to get installed 1st. :P

And I'm in Plano so you got to get up pretty early in the morning.

j/k I'm lucky if I can get out by 2pm, and I still don't have anything from UPS. They left Mesquite at 7:22am and are MIA.

Got my ice box!!!!

It was close. They left a "nobody home" note and said "will retry Monday." I wouldn't have seen it until I got home but I checked my tracking at 4:45 and it said the same thing--so I called the 800 number and wouldn't stop until they agreed to contact the Denton distribution center to have them call the driver to meet me in McKinney on his way home. I met him at a Postage+ at 5:45 PM and he handed over the goods...

I will PM folks my address, directions and my cell number. Inferno

I have PM everyone on the list. If anyone else wants directions, I can PM you or any of these guys can forward their PM. This sounds really good--I hope somebody (Mantis/Danny) brings a digi camera. Also, the directions look pretty detailed so we should be fine. If we can work on two or three at a time, that would be way cool.

It sounds like pleanty of brew is coming. I will have toilets, a driveway (garage if raining), and some snack food (don't think I am entertaining--if you want something special, bring it yourself, dude).

Cheers, Inferno

2:00 PM on Saturday should leave pleanty of time to complete the installs and still make the Nissan meet in NE Dallas (allow 30-40 minutes to drive from McKinney to 635 and Abrams).

I will PM my phone number and address, along with directions, to everyone who wants to attend, help, or just make fun of us. Should be fun.

I would count on a cool hour or so. I have done it in 45 but I don't think that will happen. I recommend just coming up US 121 (take 360 to 121 and go past Frisco, hook up with Mantis, and hit US 75). Or whatever way works for you. Inferno

Gentlemen, I need to go spread some loving over at my girlfriend's house (Hanzie, take a hint here). She is so sweet but now I gotta make her feel like Saturday is a burden 'cause it is taken me away from her (take another hint, Hanzie). That is the way of it, so until tomorrow, cheers!

This question came up on the other thread. How about it, Mantis and Danny? Didn't you just do something similar? Anyone else? Inferno

On the installation instructions for the Ice Box, there are instructions to remove the coolant line that runs near the thottle and to replace it with a supplied line. Later on it says to fill the coolant system and bleed.

Does this mean we need to formally flush the coolant system, or just topping off what is lost?

Can a problem occur if air is trapped in the coolant system (from changing the tubing)? How does one bleed the coolant system?

The real question -- is this an added level of difficulty that would require the expertise of a professional?

that's the problem I had the other day when I finally added the hoses i was supposed to use originally. Some coolant poured out, but it wasn't that much. I reattached everything and have been driving just fine for a couple of days.

I was thinking though, isn't air always in the coolant?? If you take off your radiator cap the coolant doesn't go all the way to the top, there's air already in there. If air bubbles get in the lines, it should circulate around and come out at the top by the cap.

if you guys hadn't seen this thread, check it out. Apparanty a 6 speed owner got 16hp and 16 ft-lbs peak gains with the ice box. Not at peak power, but lower in the rpms.
