Trucks are fun. I almost got one two cars ago, but my need for speed is greater than my need for running over shit.... hehe

to find these "odd" characters as you put it, go Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character Map

it will tell you all the keystroke combinations for all the odd characters for each font...

You can probably switch to an Acura 3.5 for less . . and it's be faster than the 03 Maxima 6 speed

the 3.5 engine upgrade . . .

The block is from an Oddessy as are the pistons and rods . . I think. I'll get the other link with details. The cool thing is that you can just swap the pistions and rods and keep your 3.2 block.

Ya know... I don't know how many times I've yelled at mom's smokin the tires of their minivans... it's really becoming a problem. Especially when a bunch of them are having burnout competitions and doing reverse donuts...

Here's agood link on the 3.5 upgrade.

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=110510

And note, the keys points are:

stronger block
pistons increase compression ratio
rods? Stoke or ??

all the power comes from giving the 3.2 higher compression and stroke . . . if I remember correctly.

Yeah, i'm watching the thermometer, and look forward to testing it out.

Shifting is about the same, and performance feels really strong. I can't say that it's *definitely* stronger than b4 the replacement, but the mechanic said he noticed my previous tranny was losing some power to the wheels, so it could be. I've been taking it a little easy since the replacement -- mainly cuz I have about a month left on my 90 day deferred adjudication probation period.

That upgraded tranny section of your 3.5L link is veeeery interesting...
