They are down at the bottom under PIAA 9000 series bulbs. Going back, they are only available as upgrades for the TL and TLS on this page--maybe the CLS has better fog lights standard?

I can do a search but I am so damn lazy and I hold this group's opinions in such high regard...

The CL-S has far worse standard gof lights. They make the standard TL-S fog lights look like premium xenon road lamps. I don't think the fitaments are the same bet6ween the two.

Found a cheaper price: $54 bucks.

Still trying to figure out if anyone has this exact bulb before I pull the trigger.

Yeah, the last time I saw everyone was early this year... small turnout but fun. My favorite meet was my first (the one that Mantis posted the pics from). I will DEFINITLY be at the next meet. We should have some crazy name like the Dallas Area Acura Dyno Day . I've yet to meet the newest members (i.e. Inferno & civic).

We should have fun on Nov 22

Thanks for the scoop Inferno.

It sounds like we may not get them in time for the races.

Shoot, and you're still jhanging around!

You even had your girl friend show up to make sure all this is legit. :P

As you can tell from the old Pics at Java and Cha's, we've lost a couple, but have added several.

The last meet, the dreded Putt-Putt meet at the track we had 15-20 cars there.

We need to shoot for 25 this time.

Yeah, we'll all get there at about 7. I'll call your cell when we get there to see if you're already there or not. I think the guy that works at Car Toys is coming too, so we can get the story on discounts and stuff directly from him.

Welcome Back Rootbeer!

How's that Red CLS of yours? We need you because the SSMs are dominating the scene. I think we have one Black SLS 6-speed and a couple of WDPs and your Red CLS, but I've not seen a Blue one yet.

ANyway, the DFW Dyno Day is a group event for those interested in getting their cars dyno'd. Some want to see what their mods have brought them, others just want to know if they got a fast one or a slow one.

Typically it costs about $100 or so to have one done, but with a group event one of the shops is offering to do it for $65 each.

We're just waiting on DeezNuts, InfernoTLS or Mantis to get back on the final details.

BTW - notice that the group here has gone on a mod frenzy.

If the dyno is gonna be 65, its not worth it. They call that a group discount?? Its 65 regular price at Carboy in Houston. Granted we all arent going to houston, but that is a rediculous price, especially if there are at least 10 of us.

Re: Dyno Run

Hanzie, I agree with you. If we had ten, it would be $45 at the Arlington shop. I have yet to see a price for any other shop, although folks have said they would be getting them. Right now, we only have about five going to the dyno which is why it is $65. Can you help drum up a few more folks? Inferno

I called Alamo Autosports in Arlington (817-860-4300) and found out the following:

They are open on both Fridays and Saturdays with dyno runs by appointment only. They quoted me a standard charge of $75 for 3 pulls (includes printout) if I went down by myself. They said they could do a "buddy" deal for $65 for 3 pulls each if we had 3-4 cars. They also said they could do a club "dyno day" for $45 for 2 pulls each IF we had 10 or more cars. They are located at 1218 Colorado Lane, Suite C-3, Arlington, TX 76015 (North of I-20 off Cooper Street before you get to Pioneer Parkway).

I think we need to shop around before we commit to this thing. Does anybody know anyone else around they can call and get a quote from? These prices seem a little high to me. I would bet we could get single runs for around $50 and a dyno day for $25 if we shopped around a little.

My friend Marc with a Silver 02 GT wants to dyno, so there's one more. Btw, he ran a 14.3 last night on his first ever run.

Hey, if anybody knows how to reach Danny25, let him know I have a PM with my cell number to call and arrange for a tire drop. I can meet him halfway between McKinney and Arlington in/around Grapevine today since I have a soccer game at 3:00 there anyway. Inferno

Hey Mantis, did you do that run with full auto, ss, or gate shift? And did you stall idle/brake, stomp on the gas, or ease into the gas (or some combo)? Inferno

I did the 14.7 with gate shift, and I stomped on the gas. I have great traction with the toyos, so I don't really need to worry about spinning off the line.

I've tried pretty much all combinations, and gate shift + gas stomp seems to work best for me all the time.

Anybody want to give Danny a hard time about his tire blowout, come by the Coffee Haus in Arlington about 5:30-5:45 tonight (across from TGI Fridays at Collins and I-30). I am dropping his new (my old) tires off then. Call it a mini-meet. Inferno

Rootbeer said he would be in. A couple of the Accord V6 guys seemed interested.

We could get close to 10 if we tried to drum up some folks to go with us...
