Just like people who prefer Lotus Elites, I mean, why drive a car that's the same size as the turbo on my fwd car?

I just came back from Texas Invitational practice and talk about boost!!

Here is a few of what was there:

Underground Racing Lambos
T1 GTRs
Dinosaur Racing Vipers and Supras
and more

Lets just say every car there had at least 1000 hp at the wheel. Some are approaching 2000.

I'll post pics when I am allowed to since this was hush hush and promo vids were made. You may find others posting on other sites, but I am respecting their wishes not too.

Agreed! The funny thing is that I think a Veyron couldn't keep up with a couple of the ones I saw. No one was running at 100%!

Usually during negotiation that happens...Run on low...Oh decent race lets go back and run it on high. Pretty entertaining. Unfortunately I will probably not be going this year. However Supras in Las Vegas is looking tempting this year if everything works out. Every supra makes 500 on pump the universal number.

Bro, last time I went there was 7-8 years or so ago when they were having a "run-what-ya-brung" event and all my buddies talked me into (didn't take much talking) taking my 1996 Cadillac STS 4.6 out. I had custom full 3" dual exhaust with dual chamber 40's, custom self made CAI system, bumped up my nitrous shot from 50 to 100, pulled the traction control fuse, borrowed a buddy's slicks (fwd car btw) and went on my way. Let me just say this: that was one of the most memorable nights of my life. After winning a few races from some respectable cars, we gained the crowds interest and everyone began rootin' for us during every race. Those were good times. And I really miss that car...was the only car I've ever owned that would widen the eyes of most who rode beside me as they were deafened by the NASCAR purposed exhaust notes.

I'd say its about time for another night. Bring the Accord out and spank a few for old times sake....

Discount Tire is not cheap. They charge $21 to mount/balance each. Not looking for chain places but more like a small shop that charges $10-$15 each. Used to have a local hookup back in PA that guy would do mounting off-hours for $10/each. Thought maybe acurazine community had a hookup somewhere.

I had a set done for $16 per tire at Wal-Mart. I would never recommend them but it may save a couple bucks...make sure to watch them like hawks.

NTB in Richardson off Arapaho quoted me $80 for all 4 for mount/balance. I've been going there to get my alignments for a while and the people there know me now. I will be getting mine done there soon hopefully, and can post how much it was if you want.

I got the 5 year unlimited alignments for $270. Pretty sure it was 5 year.

Firestone has unlimited alignments for the lifetime of the car for like.. $130 or something. But as I've experienced already, after the first alignment, they really don't give a shit about you. lol.
