Earlier today saw a beemer parallel park. First he stopped in front of the spot, skidded about 50 feet, backed up and skidded past the spot, went forward slowly and barely skidded in front of the spot etc, took about a minute lol.

Since no one has posted in this thread in a few days...

Here is my new project Legend. Complete with aftermarket fenders and what appear to be mid 90's mustang OEM 16" wheels. Drove all the way up to Kansas City to pick her up. Mechanically it seems to be good, but she is in desperate need of paint and interior which will both be done in January. Already have OEM 3G TL wheels for her waiting to be mounted. New fenders on the way as well. I plan on posting a before/progress/after thread once complete.

anyone have any recommendations on a good rim repair shop. I have some varianza t1's that are curbed pretty badly. while I'm at it any rim powder coater recommendations in the north dallas area as well ??

For the rim repair I've used Discount tire who outsource it. If you have a machine finish you need to make sure they polish it out or you'll see the lathe marks.

On the powder coating, I've used this place and was real happy with the work.

I'm very anxious to get her back on the road. So many parts in the mail and hard to find time to spend working on her. I am hoping to have her in the paint booth late this month. Also noticed a few mechanical issues, nothing too major though for now. Kills me having it just sitting in my parking lot in it's current condition!

Having recently dealt with 2 people I was close to go through this, you have your hands full. Let me know if there's anything we can do to help you out.

For example, if your mom is close enough we could help by bring food by so you can stay with her as much as possible.
