So my car is for function over style. Once i get her back and review the work Sewell does to her, i was thinking of the following:
*Get the 105k service but hold off on sparks.
*Run 3000 miles of Auto-rx in the crank case and then change the sparks.
*Do the transmission fluid 3x3 and replace the pressure switches.
*Brake bleed
*Power Steering Flush & Fill (possibly change reservoir)
*Change thermostat
*Change the air filters inside and out.
Does anyone have recommendations on where to buy their fluid? i have Honda by me, but wondered if anyone had a good supplier in the metroplex that would be worth the effort? or just order online?
Any other recommendations anyone has? I hope to keep her on the road for the foreseeable future.

I'm not in Dallas, but I've visited twice, June 2009 and July 2011...
It's very BIG, it's a nice place, I enjoyed my time there... Don't forget, HOT, damn, so freaking hot...
I loved Grapevine Mills, just north of DFW, I did some plane spotting up there, I also visited Love Field...
Well, hope to get back one day, it's quite a drive from down here in Southeast LA, and Southwest MS...
I had no idea Dallas was so far from Shreveport...
Also, where is that area when you cross that bridge by the lit up ball tower (CBD)? It was nasty, and there was a dead dog in the median of the road... Found it in 09, couldn't in 11...
That being said, hello D boys...

Hey guys, long time no see! Hope everyone is doing well. I am in Abilene, TX now, been here 3 years, but really miss my Acura. Thinking about either picking a 5th gen Advance TLX up, or a GS350 Fsport....undecided. Well either way, hope you all are doing good.

Inspection stations
Anyone know of an inspection station in FW who doesnt have an issue with tint? Wifes car got 15 all round and the tint shop said it wont pass inspection if the inspection station wants to be strict.

What's up fellas! New to the forum, just purchased an 08 NBP TL Type-S. In the Dallas area, specifically in Coppell. Hope to gain some knowledge and meet up and get to know the group a bit better.

Been in the DFW a very long time. I have 2 TL type S in 6MT both 07, one is NBP purchased in Sept 2014 from NJ and the other is WDP that I recently purchased. I was looking into getting tint done on both my cars (NBP is tintless and WDP is bubbling and would like to go darker) were you able to find a decent spot??

Man oh man, I found this gem, and contacted them. They aren't budging on that price either.
I can get a 2012 for the price they are asking with the same miles. But thought I share.

Tint shops -
FW i recommend Glacier in Arlington or Sunray in Keller, Sue McCollum is super great lady and excellent customer service.
In Dallas, i havent been but a lot recommended Tri-tek.
I think you will be fine if you go with any of these. what type of tint are you going for?

So to expand on yesterdays post.
Sue at Sunray was one of the few shops in DFW who knew what i was talking about when i mentioned installing Moleskin on the TL door seals to help prevent scratching, which was nice. they do offer it. a lot of other shops said either "i dont know what you mean", "our tint is scratch proof" or one shop thought i was asking for seat covers. However Sue will not be cheapest, but operates in a more TONY market.
Glacier will do Llumar Ceramic (30, 15 or 5) for a very good price but will not do moleskin.
Both shops also offer the AIR 80 which is clear tint on the windshield which helps too!
Feel free to ask anything else and if i can help i will, i have been working on building up a list of good mechanics, best prices for 105k services, good detailers etc. Again im in FW so most of my recommendations would be for that part of the metroplex.

I forget sometimes how big DFW is... Probably 10 people looking for a TLs daily...
Haven't been there since July 2011, but the ride from Dallas, around Love Field to Plaino took forever!!! Or maybe I was just hot, but dang!!!
