Unless you are going on a long vacation without internet access, when do you you need 10+ movies on your iPod?

I would have to say that it would be kinda foolish to buy the 16GB version right now. The 32 can't be too far away.

and as for movies on an iPod 32 gb would work nicely. If the iTouch debut today was with 32gb I would have picked one up.
Although I would not mind a slightly more bulky device if the iTouch had a 60-80gb HD in it.
how many ipods has everyone purchased?
i have only had one 3g ever.. no nano, no mini, no iphone, how often is reasonable to upgrade my music player other than for video or wifi which I don't currently have
i hate to buy 1st gen anything, especially apple, but i could be waiting forever, or buying something every 6 months

I just can't see watching videos on an Ipod (maybe the gym) and as far as music, I think I just need to get rid of my Abba collection and I will have more then enough room on my nano...

i have already seen plenty of people wearing their iphone on their arm at the gym, its like a badge of nerd honor
My thoughts: If you are a current iPod video owner.......
Is a new 160 or 80 gb iPod enough reason to make you go out and purchase a new one?
Sure it's metal, sure it has a new interface, it's slimmer and somewhat better batt capacity...but essentially it's the same device as currently owned and this is not enough to make one pony up the cash.
..Enter the iTouch. Widescreen
Wifi
Safari
All the things we have been looking for!!!!.....then the punch to the stomach: 16GB memory capacity

Why would I drop from 30-60-80gb down to 16gb?!?!?!
Apple did not give good enough reason for current iPod w/ video owners to buy a new device.

Of course, all of these announcements now make the unopened 4GB Nano I have sitting at home worth even less when I try to sell it. Shows what I get for being my usual procrastinating self.

Sucker!!EDIT: This makes me much happier that I wasn't one of those who lined up to try to buy one the first day.
They should give a free basket of cookies to us early adopters that paid 6 bones.
Oh and that starbucks thing is fucking retarded. How about adding a to do list and Bluetooth sync to the iPhone instead of wasting time on bs like this

I WOULD get the touch, but it is so close to a convergence device that I wouldn't want to carry that AND a phone. The whole phone aspect of the iphone is what is killing me on this decision. It's just that they MAKE you pay $20 for the shittest internet ever? no thanks. And if it was 3g it would not be worth it to me at $40
