well I guess I'm getting an iPhone now. Didn't plan on that today. And maybe an 80gb iPod classic with the $200 i saved.

 

if only you could use the iphone with Verizon

 

I guess I will have to pick up a new iPod Classic.
Sux....the iTouch could have been so dominant. The lack of memory is it's Achilles heel.

 

Regarding that, can you sync one music library with two different devices?

iPhone price cut eh.... I've been looking for a new phone, and it happens to be that my current provider is AT&T.

 

personally the ipod touch storage doesn't bother me as the largest ipod i have ever owned is the 1st gen 5gb one with moving touch wheel. have 2gb nano now that i use most of the time since the other one is so old and the moving jog wheel is prone to breaking. been waiting for a full screen touch ipod for the last two years though as the technology has been there really just waiting for them to do it.

 

^^Put a bunch of movies on your iTouch and you will quickly find that you will be bummed by the lack of storage capacity. At +/- 600mb per movie that takes up alot of space...fast. Not to mention your songs.

 

Stuck between the touch and the new nano, leaning towards touch though.

 

i want to replace my mini, but then again i dont use it enough to justify getting another one.

+1 on a 160gb touch would have sealed it for me.

 

its 16GB flash RAM - why are you all so disappointed? 16GB is current.

 

well i like the web browsing it has and hope aim will be made available or some form of im program that can do so.

 

very true. just looked at a 32gb solid state hd and they are 400+ 64gb is coming soon and its listed at 1100.

 

...again not enough capacity for a modest film library and songs.

If i was apple, i know its the right thing, cause you know everyone and their mother will want one, and then ipod touch 2 will come out with bigger space and the same people will buy it up again.

Same shit happened with the ipod... We all hate they did it, but you know they are going to make bank doing it regardless.

That's why I'm waiting for the next gen iTouch...I think I will get a classic in the meantime.

True...but not in an iTouch. Widescreen is great for watching video...but the 16GB just does not cut it.

It's the RDX of iPods....right engine, wrong car......right iTouch....wrong storage.
