that has to be BS. they told my friend in person today that he could upgrade for a reduced price and keep his unlimited plan.

anybody have any official statements on this?

that it said for "all" apps

i thought it was limited to if the developers add support to it in their apps..

Wow this thing might just get me away from my BlackBerry. I hated the first iPhone, but it looks like iPhone 4 is miles head of that one.

Connect an external keyboard.

If you prefer working on an external keyboard, iPhone 4 lets you do that, too. It comes with built-in support for Bluetooth-enabled wireless keyboards.

If true this may be at least a temporary deal killer. Can anyone find something to confirm or deny in writing.

AT&T has replied on their Facebook page indicating that current customers may keep the $30/month unlimited plan even when they upgrade to a new iPhone:

The good news for current customers who love their unlimited plan is this: they are not required to switch, even when it's time to upgrade to a new phone. So you are welcome to keep your unlimited plan

good news for existing customers..

new customers will just make do with 2GB data.. i have wifi at home and work.. i dont believe i'll have to worry very much (i hope)

so whos getting the black finish/ white finish.

im going with the minority and getting white.. i dont know a single person with one. (3G or 3GS)

Very well thought out...esp with Sprint adding an extra 10 bucks for 4G on the EVO...... $10 isnt alot of scratch, but its just the kinda crummy feeling it gives you to have to pay more to use a new phone...

yeah, 24% thinner than a 3GS. that is just insane. I mentioned earlier but I picked up a Treo 700p the other day and it felt like a walkie-talkie.

I remember a day when people thought Blackberries (the old fat ones) were too annoying to talk on, because of how flat they were. I think I would be using a headset most of the time with the 4. And, I think this is also better for my brain (any thoughts on "that" line of thinking? is it scare-tactics or is there any truth to it?)

i like how they brought the color around the front this time.

used to be just the back cover.. i guess i've always associated apple products with white.. i never understood why they werent popular with the iphones.

yes...no matter what camera does what, someone will ALWAYS want 24p
