AT&T is offering a minimum $300 back on a 5S trade in. TEMPTING. Wonder if I should get a 6 or 6+, or just wait for the 6S.

just got the email from apple that my 15gb $20/yr iCloud plan was upgraded to 20GB $10.99/year.

When everyone purchased their new iPhone online before did you all get them on the release date? I'm a very impatient person so I was usually those idiots who waited in line for 8+ hours to get it the same day it released.

I never pre-ordered one. Do you get them when they are released?

 

Yes. Every time I ordered, it was at my door on the day of release.

 

But the rumor is that apple will have an in-store pick up option on their phone...still probably going to have to wait in a line for it.

 

Never head an issue, with iPhone or iPad. Always got them that day.

according to MR, for the iPhone 4, they did do a reservation system for in-store pick up. there were 2 lines. one for buying and the other for picking up. the pick up line was shorter.

i vaguely remember that as well.

you have to order it when the preorders starts, once that allotment is gone then apple will ship it out a few days after release date.

Reason I ask is because I may not be 'at home' this time. Visiting my mom for her birthday so I wanted to get it delivered to her address, so I'm going to have no time to wait in line.

 

just make sure you are home when fedex delivers, signature IS required.

or you can sign a release form from the apple website and tape it to your door.

 

I may not even get a chance to pre-order. My bill is due on the 10th and I paid for it yesterday. Since the site hasn't updated it says my bill is past due so it says I'm not upgrade eligible even though I am. Unless this changes soon, I can't do much. I think the AT&T site is getting hit and not updating properly because, usually, it is instantly updated on my account .

 

Whose awake for this? Apple isn't live yet
