Mom upgraded her 32GB 5 to a 128GB Rose Gold 6S. Only did it since AT&T is canning subsidized phones this Friday.

Although the AT&T rep was an idiot and ordered us a gold one instead, now I gotta go back to the AT&T store and exchange it.

You had one job!

128 GB? Holy moly. I would have no idea how to use all of that space.

^I picked up a space gray 64gb 6s a couple weeks ago. Had a 16gb 5. Love it. So much faster. Batter lasts MUCH longer.

The size took a little getting used to at first but now it seems like the same size my 5 was in my hand. No biggie.

Anyone having issues with group texts coming in delayed?

I sometimes get them an 45 mins to hour later. Sometimes, a day later. Others on the latest iOS 9.x have the same issue.

I had that issue before, but only if I texted with android users.
SMS/MMS/iMessage with anyone else worked fine

She likes to record a bunch of useless videos and wants to make sure the phone lasts for 3 years.

I figured with 4K video, it'll eat up the 64GB quick over the span of 3 years. Her 32GB 5 is already full.

Photos and videos.

Have kids, you'll get it.

As for keeping 25gb of music ON your phone...get iTunes match...keep your library on the cloud. I haven't kept physical music on my phone or computers in years. Works great.

So you "stream" your music?
Does that use data?

(Serious question cause I don't know)

TMo doesn't have certain streaming providers count against your data. ATT def yes. FYI, if you have no local music in your phone and are in a dead zone for data/wifi your screwed for music. I have in my SD card in my Note 4 a few "emergency" albums.

Bingo. Don't be a fool...keep a limited amount of your favorite music actually on your phone.

That's why I said little to no music on my phone.

And I still have unlimited data with AT&T.

Approx 15gb used per month

YES!!!!!!!

I've found when I reboot my phone (hold home and power) a bunch will come in at once. That makes me think it's a problem with the phone. Hopefully they fix this on the next update.

My friends with Android phones have the same issue, and I had the same issue when I had an Android too (texting iOS using in group MMS). But I never got 5, 6, 8 messages all at once.

Yes...but it HARDLY eats any bandwidth.

I stream music in the car, at the gym, riding my bike...between that and ALL the web surfing I do on my phone...I hardly use 3GB/month which is nothing.

If you have T-Mobile, Binge-On streaming doesn't count against data.

Just to clear things up.... while TMobile offers free music streaming, Binge On is for free video streaming (through 24 video service partners), not music.

I use Rhapsody low quality and in almost a month 1.32GB on low quality. I only stream music in the car via LTE. Same thing with Spotify. I average like 1.50GB/month and stream more podcasts through a different app than music.

The logic is more about coverage availability not bandwidth used. A few gigs of music can go a long way when in need.

It buffers. When I go on a 30 mile bike ride, there is a section where I lose or have majorly weak coverage. But I never notice or skip a beat.

They should wait until 10 year anniversary to announce iPhone 7. Would give them a little more time to develop and improve it over iPhone 6S

Wifey wants to be able to back up her iPhone6 SMS in iMessage to the cloud in case she loses her phone, etc.

Anyone use a good app to do that?

Wait, does iCloud already back up SMS?

iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages (requires the SIM card that was in use during backup)

What updated Mac do you want?

Don't you have enough already??

Most likely it'll be skylake MBP if they are updating Macs.

I wish that they would make a 15" macbook pro that didn't cost $2000. $1500 would be nice.

Yes I know what the update is supposed to be. I have the MacBook 12 retina and would trade it in for the skylake processor model.
