Can somebody help me out here? I've been trying to download the photos off my iphone 6+ for a while now. Whether I use itunes, find the device and open the photos folder under devices, or use the windows photo app, it will only show me the last few photos I've taken, instead of the thousand that are actually on the phone. It will even show that the drive on the device is nearly full, but again when I try to DL it only shows like 8 of the last photos. My phone is lagging like a mofo because of this. I've Google searched and tried all the ways it's supposed to work.

Check to see if you ICloud Photos on.

 

when you plug in the phone, do you get the Windows pop-up box asking what you want to do? At that point you should choose "Open Device to view files", and proceed as follows:









For whatever reason it places images and videos into separate folders like that - you have to copy each one separately for best results. If you try to copy the whole thing at once, it usually stops prematurely.

This is on Windows 7, I haven't tried it on 8 or 10.

Oh also, you have to go into each folder separately, and let the folder populate with files, wait until that finishes, then select all and copy.

 

They are all in Icloud photo Im sure.

 

If you use Lightroom, you can download them with it.

I got ios 9.3. When i press 'define' on a word and go to 'manage', online instructions say there should be dictionaries in all languages to choose from. I have only English and 'apple dictionary'. no icloud icons, no list.

No where online am i finding a similar situation.

Same here; I'm on 9.3.4.
It may be a function of the language used in "Settings"-- my phone is set only for English.
You can try adding a language to the phone or keyboard to see if that gives additional language choices on "define."

I did last night actually, whole digging into every possible path into settings. i added french. The phone went into a black screen saying "upgrading languages" and then once it was done. I tried. still. I rebooted, same.

now i read ur post, went to test it, i got all language dictionaries listed.

apparently im not the only one (per FB) but my battery is acting up.
Recharged it to full, unplugged at 5:05PM. It's 5:34PM and I'm at 57%

gonna need to do a restore on this crap.

 

My 6 likes to die at 20%-40%, turn back on after plugging it in, and then discharge to 0% as if nothing is wrong

 

My gf's 5S was having the same issues, had to do a restore to newest IOS and that alleviated the problem a bit. Then she dropped her phone and shattered the screen. No more battery problem

 

 

I've got an iPhone 4 sitting in the closet if you want to borrow it.
