That would be nice-- I really dislike the large size of most smart phones and would rather have one the size of an iPhone4 or -5.

Sure. I could count the times I've seen a 5C on one hand. The size of an iPhone 4 is just ridiculous though. It will be a flop if they actually release one. I'll believe it when I see it..

Apple Smart Battery Case launches - Business Insider

Apple has made an iPhone case that improves battery life to 25 hours

Apple has released a battery case, called the Smart Battery Case, that improves the iPhone's battery life to as long as 25 hours.

Third-party vendors, such as Mophie, already produce various battery cases that plug into the iPhone's Lightning port and provide extra power beyond the built-in battery.
The case comes in black and white versions and is designed for the iPhone 6 and 6S.

Apple says simultaneously charging the Smart Battery Case and iPhone yields over 25 hours of talk time, 18 hours of internet use, and over 20 hours of video playback.
The case costs $99 in the US and £79 in the UK.

Its getting a lot of hate, but its not bad looking. Its flexible, light and uses the lightning connector and will fit in docks.

I like seeing an official product from Apple designed to address the battery issues, and I am OK with how it looks. I have had 2 third party cases for my 6 Plus - the first one had flaky charging, it would not charge the phone while it was in the case, and then finally stopped working, the 2nd one is by Alphatronix and is doing a fine job. I will probably just stick with that for now, since it's working. If I have trouble in the future I'll get the Apple version.

You have a 6 Plus, the case is only for the 4.7" 6S.

Have had six of them over the years, never broke. Have sold to others, still going. I've dropped them many times, have chunks missing, scraped to hell, still work. Many friends no problems.

I did have a friend have one break within weeks of owning one, that when they change the opening to the bottom. When she pulled to take phone out of case, , it snapped opened, everything came out. Mophie replaced with no issues.

I had 3 where the USB connector inside broke off. They fix them, but still.

Only had my 6s for a few days, but it seems like it takes about twice as long to charge than my 5 did.

That's because the micro USB connection sucks to start with.

My 6s+ faster than my 5s. I don't use the power hubs that come with phones. I have USB wall outlets.

iOS 9.2 is out!

Omg FINALLY!!!!

USB Camera Adapter - With iOS 9.2, iPhones are now able to support Apple's USB Camera Adapter and related accessories for importing pictures from a digital camera or DSLR. Previously, only iPads supported the USB Camera Adapter. The iPhone 5 and later appear to work with the USB Camera Adapter/iPad Camera Connection Kit. The iPhone 4s and the iPod touch do not support it.

1715 vs 1440mah for the 5

Use the apple 12w charger, they'll charge your iPhone the fastest.

You live in a big shitty.

Both of my parents, actually all 4 love their 6's way better than the 5's they had before, by a long shot. I thought my HTC EVO 4G was huge when I got it, and the same with the 6+. Only takes a day or so to figure out it's not. 6 is a perfect sized phone if you want something on the smaller side.. it's great because the old folks can actually operate it without their readers.

I picked up a 64GB Space Gray 6S+ yesterday, replacing my 16GB 5S, and I love it. Yeah, the size is taking some getting used to, but I certainly don't mind it. I especially like having more memory to have my entire iTunes library (~25GB) with me instead of picking certain playlists, albums, etc.
