Figures. I have the Samsung chip
Maybe I should have stuck with Android.
Just kidding, I dislike Samsung even more now. That said, I get amazing battery life, especially standby. My 6S+ gets a day and a half, easily.

the heck? Are you streaming Netflix with it over data or something? I usually unplug by 9.
I'll use instagram, view and send snapchats, text, go on reddit. Some music (Spotify offline) during my brief commute. By lunchtime I'm around 70-80%.
Like I said, I'm gonna wait for more data in case this thing is overblown.

As we went over in the Android thread, try Paper. It's a different interface for FB, but it's developed by FB themselves.
Facebook has been a major battery drain on every device I've used. Read that on iOS, it makes the OS treat FB as a VoIP so it can be "always on" and pulling data even if you disable background app refresh.

Interesting about the FB app. I really hate it. I've got a 50/50 chance on the app crashing when I load.
And then it takes a good 1-2 minutes to load the news feed.
And then I got another 50/50 chance it'll freeze my entire phone for about 4-5 minutes. Completely unresponsive to anything but a force reset or if I wait it out

I think since I have a long weekend I'm gonna try a restore to see if that helps.
The app to find out which chip you have has been taken down from the app store. Speculation is that hush money was involved

Dear users of Lirum Device Info,
We are aware of some serious issues or our Apps with the latest iOS models (iPhone 6S and iPad Air 2). Changes on the requirements for a new update to be approved are also delaying the development process (and our team is very small).
In face of such events, in 24 hours, we will take Lirum Device Info down from the App Store - until we can release a decent update. That will take a few months however - but then we promise an entire new user interface, faster updates when a new device model is released, and a lot of new features.
Until then, the app will continue to work on models equal or prior to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Best Regards, Rogério Hirooka Lirum Labs

Are you 6s/6s+ guys having the issue of the phone mysteriously turning off? I read it about it online and it happened to her this morning. Wasn't her battery because she left it charging in her car since the 2 button start wouldn't work and it turned on after 5 minutes by itself with like 53% battery.
I've always HATED the idea of Next and this further solidifies my fear. I remember back when I had the 3GS they swapped it no questions asked thanks to the old subsidized plans back when I had unlimited data and shit was better. Way to devolve ATT.
No they can't give it to her. The upgrade won't show. She can't re-sign until the Next is available on her account again. Even the ATT rep says it should be there. It's a system limitation apparently.
Scheduled appts are a freaking week out but we went to the Apple Store and they offered to switch it out. Funny thing is they have phones there that aren't marked in the inventory so it shows out of stock but they really have them so yes you have Plus phones in the back you lazy fucks. Anyways with ATT Next, you have to return the phone/void the contract/reinstate the upgrade eligibility. The problem is that the upgrade eligibility doesn't kick in instantly nor within an hour (yes we waited and called ATT both my gf and the Apple staff). So basically if she didn't have her old 5, she would be phoneless until it's available which they say could take 24/48 hours

Honestly it's customer service EVERYWHERE. So much incompetence. I had issues with Schwab today as well and don't get me started at Comcast. Even on Twitter 3 different ATT gave me different answers when I posted that apparently you can't swap phones instantly while on Next.

Regarding the lawsuit over the A7/A8
For the first six months of 2015, Apple averaged a daily net profit of $134.7 million, which means the judgment will account for approximately 42 hours of profit. Apple has said it will appeal the ruling.
No idea why, but I just noticed yesterday Siri wasn't working. I would press the button and the little Siri lines would show on the screen as if she was saying something but she wouldn't say anything and no words would display on the screen. Only worked again after I turned the phone off and back on again.
Google now is just loaded with extra stuff. Sports information, travel plans, tv information etc. are all just there for view. Apple is trying to implement it, but it's just not there yet.
However, my Siri is an Australian Male, so it's a lot more fun.

I download Google app and use her when Siri fails me... I find Google is able to understand me better. Siri always misinterprets

It says "background activity" for music and mail
