Still have not gotten any kind of a text, but I am now having an issue with my email. Before the carrier update when I would be typing an email, it would auto wrap. Now it just goes on for whenever. Probably fills an expanded window then wraps. Even when I recieve an email it is zoomed out so far and does not auto wrap when I zoom in so I have to pan around to see the whole email. That I don't like. I hope that part of it is unntentional.

Just sync the phone to itunes, update the carrier file, powercycle the phone and welcome to 2005.

+1 you dont need to wait on the text message just sync to itunes fir the update then restart your phone.

Just updated mine, works great. I noticed a message flash on the screen in itunes for a split second that I THINK said to reboot your phone. I never would have seen it or known what to do if you guys didn't say to reboot. Thanks.

But just did what everyone else said to do.
Hook it up to iTunes.
Let it do it's thing.
Disconnect from iTunes.
Turn phone off.
Turn back on.
Good to go.

Yeah i did, I called att and they sad they had the wrong imei number and that was teh reason. Now my phone doesnt even text. They told me they are working on it and it should start working ina coupe hours.

i was going to get my tethering to work but was told it is not compatible with 3.1

Any ideas as to when it may become available?
