FedEx just delivered mine. I had all the same information you did. Mine also came out of Oakland. I'm in Fresno.
He was leaving mine as I got to the door. Driver said they can leave boxes from AT&T but not from Apple. Still depends on neighborhood and set-up.

I really wish I had gotten it yesterday, I wouldve soooo walked by the iPhone 4 line, and pull off some shenanigans.
Like walk by while recording with the flash on or something

At least one user paid a visit to the Genius Bar at his local Apple retail store but was told that there are no replacement units available at the moment. Given the iPhone 4 shortages, it may be some time until affected users can obtain replacements.
The prevalence of the issue is unknown at this time, but there are a significant number of users reporting experiencing it on their phones.

after work i go pick up my iPhone 4. im not sick about it but im in need of new phone my 3G is falling apart got it taped to keep it in one piece vibration device has been lost since i droped my phone last week. since yesterday my ringtones or any sounds does not work. im loosing my service. i need a new phone for real. lol. tomorrow ima destroy my 3G bc i hate it give me some ideas how can i destroy it. got couple but im interested in your ideas.

Well, they've already said there's an issue with how many bars display, and it's not accurate.
We'll see if it's an actual reception issue or a rendering issue.

according to dev team, your phone has to be jailbroken previously and not with spirit jb
i have 3.0 as well, and i'm assuming it's fine (someone correct me if i'm wrong)
but when i sell it on craigs, i might just keep it as 3.0 and let the buyer handle it
(or do you guys think it will draw more people if i advertise 4.0 unlocked/jailbroken?)

I'm not looking to make money off it, I just need funds to pay for the 4 16g
on the screen and signal issues.
I'll be listing my 3GS on craigslist in a couple of weeks... if I find a buyer willing to pay my asking price, I'll be upgrading and getting a low-budget phone for my mom since she was planning to take my upgrade. Also depends on new users' initial impressions and reviews.

Oh and in the video the guy demo's the call by calling PAYPAL!!!!!! AHAHAHA!!!

Reader Chris Sheehan did a speed test with the phone sitting down, with his hands on the phone, and one with his hands on but with a leather case on it. They're in order, and the one with his hands on the bare phone is really bad times.

yes, its probably to due with the new way that apple set the iphone to switch networks.
something about switching networks to a less congested one even if it has good signal with whatever it was on.
