Yes, but when she puts in her sim card she won't have any data, so you'll have to add it to her line.

 

I don't have one yet either, but the little playing on them I have done, typing in landscape makes a world of difference. I have big fingers too.

I absolutely hate typing in landscape mode, I don't know why everyone loves it so much.

 

I'm sending pictures I've taken with the iPhone to my email address and it's not going through... is that like a special plan I need to pay to do this?

no, I've attempted to send pictures (taken with the iPhone), send them to my yahoo email address, and they're not showing up.

i think your phone has to be set up with an email account. not sure since mine isnt.

 

well, when I take a picture or go to any picture in my photo album... there's a tab at the lower bottom left. I press it and one of the options is to "email photo". I press that option and it takes me to a page where I can enter an email addy... then I hit "send" and the picture comes back full screen... I'm assuming it's sent... but nothing happens.

Meh' I found a way to get pics taken from my phone to my computer w/o sending it to myself. It's kinda cheesy but it works. I just use either the FB or Myspace app and upload the pictures through it. Then when I get home I log in with my pc and save it from there. I generally don't send pics taken from my phone to other people anyway

 

Might be a setting in your yahoo account you have to turn on???

 

You can also access it in my computer when phones hooked via usb. Click on my computer, iphone, then u see the apple photo file there.

 

Actually it's working now, which is weird cuz I haven't touch the settings since last night. However, I don't think I can send myself something tho (from my yahoo account to my yahoo account). My testing email arrived at my other (gmail) account but the yahoo ones never or haven't showed up

Why do you hate it so much?
It's proportions are much more like a normal keyboard, and having larger hands/fingers myself, it helps tremendously over trying to hit the right button in portrait mode.

 

I dunno, this is my first smartphone (3GS) and so far I've had no problems with it. People complain about the keyboard but I'm getting what I expected from it... the autocorrect is a little intrusive, but not enough for me to turn it off.
I've also read about problems with wifi... no such issues here.

My only real complaint is the vibration is way too weak.

 

When I have both hands at the ends of the phone, I have to reach further for letters. I guess my fingers just know where the letters are now When I type in landscape I miss letters by more than a letter apart and thus the auto-correct does not kick in and correct misspelled words.

I also don't type with both thumbs. I type with my right thumb and left index finger. My left middle finger goes on the volume buttons, left index finger types and left thumb is at the data cable end... my four right fingers are on the back of the phone and my right thumb types. When I type in landscape mode I have to type with both thumbs and I can't

 

Nothing to bash the phone about, you just got some fu#ked up fingers.

So...I'm kinda torn between getting the iPhone or a Brackberry. Yes. Brackberry.


I don't know if I should get it because I'm getting an iPod touch next month.

 

I can't speak for the BB but if you use the phone to browse the web a lot, I can't imagine anything being better than the iPhone.

 

Blackberrys are horrible. No comparison.
