so tell me this, if my sister upgrades to an iphone what will happen then? (and my mom and I decide to upgrade at a later date)
what if my mom and i decide not to stick with AT&T, what would happen to my sister?

I use the Motorola S9 and it's more than enough... but only because I sweat during workouts... those earmuff type might have a better sound, but those foam just soak up sweat so, I opted not to go with that kind...
yup... and it's VERY clear (but what you hear, only comes out of the right side... the person you're talking to is NOT in stereo, not that it matters)
but forget about watching movies with the S9, there's a really bad delay
you hold down the home button...or the button on the ear buds until you hear the "ding ding ding" then you let go and say what you want it to do in terms of calling or ipod control.

i still cant believe my mom got an iphone, and a 32gb at that. we tried to convince her a 8gb would be enough for her if she wanted one, but she wanted the new one. so we tried to convince her on the 16gb, but she was like "i want the best"
question, was the original iphone (not sure about 3G) using USB1.1 or something?
i swear transfering songs and syncing is SOOOO much faster, like SIGNIFICANTLY faster.
i just transfered 40 MP3s to my 3GS, it took 38 seconds, transferred the same 40 MP3s to my original iphone and that took 2 minutes 22 seconds
also when i did the first sync of the 3GS that transferred all the settings and apps to the 3GS, the transferring and installing of the many apps i have was quick!

So far I have noticed that the battery life on my 3GS is waaaaay better than I was getting on my 3G. I would be lucky to squeeze out two days on my 3G. Three days is not a problem with my 3GS
hope it's not a temporary thing.
Booting is a lot quicker and Safari has yet to crash...

I never synced my 3G with music. I hardly synced my 3G for that reason since I did app updates through Wi-Fi.
I did sync my 3GS two or three times from the stock IPSW though. I synced it when I first got it, again after I pulled the iBSS and iBEC files, and one last time after I jailbroke it. All three syncs were über fast.

I prefer the native mail app. I have a couple e-mails link to my phone so i just go into mail and handle it all in one place. I'm hoping Google roles out push mail for us soon. They have to get on the ball with that.
I just despise webmail on a mobile. If you don't like manual checking, you can have the phone pull your e-mail at a customizable interval. But yea, nothing you probably don't already know.

There is a jailbreak that makes your phone fetch once a minute, effectively making it a push, unless you get e-mails that you need checked instantly as they come in.
Can't say it will do good things for your battery life though.
thats why I asked if there was something more, if its just notifications, nah, dont need it.
Also turn off push to save some battery.
Also why was I such a cheapass and not pay the 20bux a month for edge data, so nice being able to go online whenever I want

I still don't get it

but we have three iphones.
