and yes an old Windows 7 Pro license taken from a 10 year old HP PC I was recycling will successfully activate a Windows 11 Pro ARM64 OS running in a VMware VM on an Apple M1 MacBook Pro

I like to physically have my music stored on my phone (not Apple music). I've never had issues syncing music/playlists until a few days ago. For some reason, when I sync with iTunes, nothing actually syncs. My iOS and iTunes is up to date and I've tried restarting my phone and iTunes and that didn't work. Any ideas? I've tried searching online and have seen others have this issue in the past, but I can't find anything that resolves it.

Not sure on the other part of your issues, but you can physically download music with Apple Music. I have my playlists download music direct to my phone since the connection can be spotty when the train i take to work goes underground.
I just ordered the Vision Pro. I bought a Quest 3 the other day (which Ill return) to see if it does what I wanted, and it does. I play the piano and I am using it as virtual screens as well as some pretty decent piano learning apps. Having the sound in the ear but also being able to hear out is perfect. So now that I know it works, I'm going to get Apple's version. I'm trading in a MacBook Pro towards it so that takes some of the sting out. Plus I'm getting about $3.5m in my separation so YOLO.
thats quite the bomb to drop @Whiskers hope you're taking care of yourself buddy.
The divorce or the Vision Pro . Thanks. I initiated the divorce after a very bad year us, but it's awful. Maybe I'll make some kind of post after it's finalized but for now, I'm doing ok. Keeping as busy as possible.
you and AVP was a no brainer, the rest I did not expect. Sorry to hear things got so bad, but also kudos for taking the step you needed to for your own health. big love buddy.

I didn't either. But life, you know.....Thanks buddy.
Im getting excited and Im purposely not watching any of the videos. I just want to jump into it. Question, If I just wear this thing all day, do I still need the iphone, watch and ipad?
Doubt it. But if I drive with the thing on my head, do I technically now have Carplay in my Tesla? Im sure the other drivers around me would be thrilled.
if you pair a keyboard and trackpad to the vision directly, can you use the trackpad to navigate and select items while looking elsewhere or does the optic control takeover and move the pointer?
i know if you bring a mac into the vision, you have to use the mac keyboard and trackpad to control the mac, optic control does not work. if you have a keyboard and trackpad paired to the vision and then bring in the mac, can you control the mac with the visions keyboard/trackpad?
can you prioritize an input system in general or by focus? ie hand/eye or kb/tp?
One floating window but you can have multiple tabs in it. For now at least. I was able to open a floating Edge Windows and Safari Windows at the same time though as a workaround for now.

I was able to pair a magic keyboard to it fine. Its still buggy where it will bring up the virtual keyboard when you have a physical one and it kind of puts it in your view in a bad way. I tried to pair a regular mouse and it didnt like it. I have an apple trackpad at home that Ill get to try it.

Its strictly view only from the vision pro to the Mac. All input is done on the macs keyboard and mouse. No virtual. I played with an app called Jump Desktop which is like Teamviewer and it works, but wonky.

are you sure about safari windows? hold the safari icon and you should be able to make more windows.
thank you!
super bummer the mac is view only, that needs a software update ASAP.
Ah, I found it. There are a few boxes on top of the safari window, one is a new Tab that opens a tab in the same floating windows and one is a new windows which opens a new floating windows. Hovering over the icons dont reveal what they do yet.
Im keeping my laptop near me when I remote to the Mac, its nice to use the keyboard on trackpad on it
