I am dumbfounded at the lack of basic functionality of the Google play store.
My RazrM is acting a little slow, so I went on to the play store to see a list of all the apps I have installed on THAT device, and the play store only list ALL the apps I have installed on ANY device. No way to sort them by device. Also, when I search for apps in the store, there is STILL no way to sort by downloads, rating, etc...

It gets super cumbersome when you back up multiple devices to a single google account (2 phones and 2 tablets for me - all for different purposes).
The only way around this is to back up a device to a separate google account.

I love my combo. Looks good. My phones phone looks really good too, but thats probably more catered to woman.
We did get it engraved though haha. Its ok still beats the resale value of a nexus

I have multiple devices linked to the same gmail account. There is no distinction in the play store list of what apps are on my Nexus7 vs.my RazrM vs. my old phone that has not been turned on in months...

Oh my TYLT Wireless Qi Charger the other day but only got to try it out today. (Been so busy with the holidays. ) Any way, I'm a little disappointed that it only charges my Nexus 7 (2013) Landscape mode (with my Nilkin case on). It won't work in Portrait mode probably due to the location of the Qi charger on the tablet. On another note, the proprietary adapter is very fat. Don't have any other device to test the charger with but I think it works in any orientation on the Nexus 4 and 5. If I bought it full price I would've been really disappointed but for $35 it gets the job done.

When I go to installed apps of a device (at least the moto x) I only see the apps installed on the Moto X. I'll check my N7 later to see if its the same. So I dont know what you're talking about still.

I know this belongs in the tablet thread but you guys have any issues with connecting your Nexus 7 to the computer?
It worked just fine but since the software upgrade, the computer doesnt recognize it in either MTP or CTP....I did try toggling the USB debugging option and installed some drivers on windows....still nothing....
anyone here knows the work around?

I'm not liking hangouts. The UI for the most part is great till you want to start another conversation, then its just horrible for looking up names.
I just want a simple texting app that looks nice. The normal messaging one doesnt look good but i'll probably change to that for the time being

Otherwise the other thing I can think of is are you using a custom kernel with Fast Charge enabled? If so that'll disable MTP.

I have the N7 dashmounted in my car and I a friend wanted me to email him the Torque dash layout....
I did not see the file explorer in the menu and then when I connected my laptop it just wouldnt connect
and the Nexus 7 is stock, I havent even rooted it....

- Uninstall the drivers and reinstall
- Try another usb cable and port or even a computer and see if it works there
- Factory reset the tablet

apparently they dont have any answers either....I bought it used and it was working before....I have tried multiple computers but not multiple cables....since the tablet is in the dash, I would have to remove it to try a different cable....

Yeah, it could be the cable...I've had issues with certain cables crapping out when installing custom ROMs on my device many times now. If that doesn't work, then you may have to use something like AirDroid to transfer files or even a USB OTG cable. The other issue seems to be the MTP drivers are not being installed correctly? But since you said it doesn't work on another computer that kinda rules it out.
I am ruling out the drivers and computer....I also want to rule it out cables but I do wanna try a different cable....
am blaming the software....I might just in stall the leave it be and use AirDroid or something like that
