^^^Open the App drawer, then Menu/Hide Applications. (6:19 in the vid). Great little vid for S4 virgins like myself:

Anyone having issues with foxfi for the S4? I bought the full version, and it doesnt display full version unlocked and it force closes immediately.
I emailed their support line after leaving a bad review and they never replied.

No wonder they won't respond....

It would appear that they have not yet figured out how to defeat the changes made in JB 4.2.x ....
Dude, you paid for it when the S4 isn't even listed as a compatible phone nor is JB 4.2 listed as compatible? Then you give them a negative review?

Im with ATT. It was in the google play store. It was just released and on sale during memorial day weekend, so I decided to try it out. Its not the7.99 foxfi+pdanet one. Its just foxfi pro. It gives you steps in the app to get it to work, but I havent had any luck.
And the phone isnt rooted.

Either way will work. Make sure its the odexed version. ODIN is more of a complete wipe if you flash the wipe version but you can also do a format in CWM which will do the same thing. In both instances make sure you create a backup and save them to a PC. You'll probably find more sources for the stock version via ODIN though.

So I just played with an S4. It's making me have second thoughts about my One. Lol. The screen looked so good. Samsung did a great job with the newer AMOLED tech. I think that contrast is tempting me to go back to AMOLED even though the One has more accurate colors and is brighter outdoors. Oh and the phone was ridiculously fast. The plastic didn't bother me as much as I thought it would but it did pick up fingerprints like crazy. Oh well. I think I'll live with a One. I just pulled 37 Mbps here in LA on LTE. Not bad at all.
Loving my S4 so far. I don't miss my Iphone one bit (but don't get me wrong, the Iphone was a great phone for me for 2 years and then I was able to sell it for $145
). I really don't care about the plastic either, especially since it's in an Otter Box anyhow. The only drawback is that I haven't yet had enough time to learn/fully exploit this phone

A bit late but the phone is so beautiful that it's tempting.

I'd be interested in that S4 when they come out with the rugged, waterproof version

HTC One S-Off and Super CID!
Don't know if you guys saw it but they just got S-Off the other day for the HTC One variants!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2314582
Once you have S-Off, you can use the Super CID to flash any RUU for your HTC One device:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&highlight=cid
So what does this mean in the short term? It means with Super CID you can flash any RUU to your device from any region, even the developer HTC RUU. In the long term, once Google starts releasing the Google Edition HTC One, you could presumably turn your current HTC One into a full on Google Edition or any HTC One variant for that matter with complete OTA updates straight from Google or HTC (if you decide to flash the Dev RUU).

Does "set reminder" in Google Now work for anyone anymore? It worked great when it launched last month, but recently it has stopped working
Might be a bug from the latest calendar update or something.

mine works fine on my NS.
Yea lol, its not even the flatter design. The control center, which is way too cluttered. I do really like their calendar, weather app design. Those are really nice. The icons look a ltl childish, so does the circular dialer buttons.

I dont think it actually ever uses the GPS?
Maybe rarely? For the most part its using cell towers and wifi (whether you're connected or not, but you gotta have wifi on for better accuracy) to triangulate positions, IIRC

Ahh I see, just was worried because I kept see the GPS arrow icon...
Yea my friend told me that too. I dunno if he's using it. I believe google released a statement saying they dont use GPS.

I dunno who's right or not though for obvious reasons.

I love it too Doom... but my wife loves it as well, and she's been nagging me to get her one too. But instead of buying another note 2, I figured taking the slight upgrade in the LG Optimus G Pro and giving her my Note 2 makes sense.
One thing that sucks, LG locks their bootloaders... oh well. I've grown tired of flashing custom roms anyway.

I have a feeling Samsung might be able to bring the Note 3 out with a bigger screen yet not much bigger body (or even smaller), like what they did with the the S4 (bigger screen and actually smaller body than the S3). And needless to say, a 1080p display. I would wait and decide later, so you don't a have buyer's remorse
I'm waiting to hear about the note 3.. Then again by the time my contract is up the note 4(?) will be out. And then I can see if the rumors of a large screen iPhone (6) for 2014 are true
