Falcons choked in that game. We'll have to see if it impacts the probable rematch back in Atlanta.

You've seen Carolina this year, right?

I'd be worried about Tampa.

Because they have won all but like 1 game all based on luck. They have been riding the golden horse shoe all season. Look what happened to you when you played a good team (the pats) you got spanked!

Sweet. I can't remember -- does this give the Bears the #2 seed automagically now?

Yep. If ATL and NO lose and you beat us, you get the No. 1 seed.

I don't see both of those happening. Time to rest the starters a bit. But not too much -- don't want them growing rust.

NFL re-seeds.

If KC beats the Jets, and Baltimore beats Indy, it would be NE/Ravens and Steelers/KC.

I'm going NE/Steelers and Atlanta/Chicago.

VIKINGS' FAVRE FINED $50K, BUT NOT SUSPENDED BY NFL

NEW YORK -- The NFL has fined Brett Favre US$50,000 for failing to co-operate with the investigation into allegations he sent inappropriate messages and lewd photos to a former game-day hostess.

The league says commissioner Roger Goodell could not conclude that Favre violated the league's personal conduct policy based on the evidence currently available.

The league's statement also says Goodell determined Favre was not candid in several respects during the investigation.

The investigation began in October and the fine was announced today.

Favre allegedly sent messages and photos to Jenn Sterger two years ago when they were both with the New York Jets.

The allegations against the 41-year-old Minnesota Vikings quarterback surfaced on the website Deadspin.

The Eagles eh?

I really don't think Philly has what takes to beat the Packers (provided we win next week). If it's the G-men they face, then they may make it to the NFC Champ game.

It would be cool if the Packers played the Bears for the NFC. Too many road games for the Pack to win for that to happen, IMO.

Whatever happened to shaking hands after a win or just walking to your locker room. Now players are taking pics and pissing on logos. WTF is that?

Yeah I like the Eagles' chances. I think it's hard to match up defensively when Vick is on fire, last game nonwithstanding. Pack look good too. If AR can produce like he did against Arizona (most epic playoff game of 2010 IMO including NFC championship and SB) then the sky is the limit.

My Seahawks have been really bad this year....yet they were 4-2 at one point. Since then they are a disgusting 2 and 7 and host the Rams with the NFC West on the line. I don't like their chances....especially without a healthy Hasslebeck. Bradford was a great #1 pick.

Rams will win the division at 8-8. Only way Seattle can pull it off is if they win the turnover battle and Leon Washington has some crazy returns. Qwest field isn't the home advantage it was a few years ago.

Bradford worries me for the foreseeable future. The Seahawks.... their QB situation is a mystery as is ours. I don't think Matt Hasselbeck has done much since their long-past SB season. And the Cardinals are back to being the Cardinals.

Opposing teams used to dread playing at Qwest where the fans were the 13th man back in 2005. Hasselbeck is a shell of his former self, weak O-line will do that and losing Jones and Hutchinson was too much to recover from in the short term.

Bradford is the real deal. He missed a whole collegiate season in 2009 and is still lighting it up as a rookie. I hope Andrew Luck ends up being as good as Bradford I wonder what Stafford could accomplish if he wasn't injured all the time
