It will be recorded as the best NBA Finals game that LeBron James, to this point, has ever played in his life. It just won't be remembered that way.
He created shots, made some shots, got to the line, definitely more effective and easily our best player in the 4th. Certainly not a "media field day" type of game.

Wade was leading the offense though most of the 4th and couldn't convert. Bosh barely got involved as much as 7 and relied way too much on that 3-point jumper like he were Dirk. Bosh will start Game 2 and get more involved in the offense. With our lacking depth we couldn't give long breaks to our starters and especially to a bunch of kids.

Here's one article re Wade

Here's a good one about adjustments to be made.
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/mia...-2-adjustments

OKC had a nice debut with a rough start. Fast break advantage 24-4. KD unstoppable scorer and Westbrook recovered very nicely. I didn't know they were undefeated at home in the postseason. We gotta win game 2.

A few pgs back I mentioned without Wade slicing, slashing & scoring approx 22-25pts...HEAT WILL LOSE! ~ It hold the same in this series. Wade can not have 1 awesome game per entire series! And that is what he is avg rt now. 1 in Indy and 1 in Boston... Lets HOPE the one he has here with OKC is in OKC and he doesn't do what suppose to be done without saying at home/Miami. We need a win in OKC! or we can throw in the towel.
D-Wade sure did missed whole lot of shots last night, but they were clearly taking away his path and were double teaming him.

Btw, Did you even watch the game or are you looking at the stats to post this?

Wait, even just looking at the stats, you can't possibly say things what you just said. Wade accepted his roll be the 2nd option, not first. If he wanted to score 30-40pts, he sure can, but this isn't about scoring. He didn't force anything... so, I am happy with the result on his part. He particularly didn't shoot well, but shooting will come later.

I still strongly believe that Miami will win in game 6.

I am tired of reading all these articles... I am not just talking about LeBron and Wade but in over all.. bunch of blah blah blah...

Just look back two weeks ago when Spurs were up 2, going with 20-0... How many articles have you guys seen regarding that OKC has no chance.. blah blah blah. WRONG!
Who came out on top? OKC. That's right....

I read some these articles to get a good laugh out of it, but that's it. I don't care and don't really listen to their "read my article" bullshit.

It was game 1, not 6. Series just got started...

It was game 1 at OKC and its not like the Heat got completely blown out. Dwade was off and IMO Bron didn't defer anything in the 4th - he made the smart passes and created for others.

I will say though, I think OKC fans maybe one of the best in the league - I can only imagine how loud it must be in that stadium.

Edit: Also remember the 2-3-2 format - Game 2 is going to be critical for OKC. If Dwade shows up for game 2 and Miami steals it, they head back to South Beach for 3 games.

I hate the Final format how it's 2-3-2.
I think game 2 would be more important than game 1, IMO.

The articles I posted just focused on games 1 and 2. Everything else I read was on how impressive KD was. Surprisingly no doomsday on the ESPN articles I read.

I am glad that two of my favorite teams that are in Final.
I am actually from Seattle... so, this could go either way, but I would rather see Heat win for love of Lebron (for the haters, tired of it).

Am I bitter? Kind of. I am sad that Seattle no longer has a basketball team.

I think KD went 0-2 and a few turnovers when that was the case. There's that depth again. Spo had to conserve James' energy and had him on others.

Sad about Seattle too...GP, Kemp, Vin Baker, Detlef, and the highest jumping white guy I have ever seen in Tom Chambers.

The crazy thing is KD started out there. He was a Seattle Supersonic draft pick.

Unfortunately, David Stern no longer leads the NBA, he follows the whims of the owners. No backbone in that guy...

I don't believe saying WADE and his roll needs to be filled with 22-25pts is saying he is a first option. He is the 1st and half shared star of the team. His is THE OTHER option, not the 2nd option. And definitely NOT a rotating bench player... This is like the 3 or 4th game (can't remember...) where WADE numbers are lower then 10pts in the 1st half ( to be exact, I think 6-7-9 is how the games gone since INDY playoffs started) which he seesm to be making this a regular and his attitude is showing he feels he is 2nd...THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN if expecting to win. IMO, why would you be first? Play like it and play as a team!

EXAMPLE: Look at what OKC and Russ and KD are doing ~ Obviously KD is the so call #1 player... But don't tell RW that because he is going to shot as many shots as he freaking wants and make his points also by running a high powered fast electric offense when the ball is in his hands. And if double teamed, he will look for the out opt. WERD!

And no! I went to sleep when they were playing GOOD and leading by 7... I did not get my info from reading stats as you mentioned. I am getting my POV from watching and observing as a fan and understanding what seems to me the obvious. That is all...

The only reason Wade scored 6, 7, 9 pt in first half because of Lebron had his game going. Why stop a guy when he is hitting pretty much everything?

But, I do agree with you that Wade needs to step up his game to next level... He is a superstar player, not some average player. I don't know if it has something to do with knee or not... he needs play like game 5 against Pacers... that's the D-Wade I know.
I expect him to take lesser J-shot and go strong to the basketball in game 2.

As what Wade & Lebron said, "first game is filler".
I am strongly believe that they make some adjustment to come out strong on game 2. They know how important game 2 is going to be for the Heat, splitting a game and going back home for game 3, 4, & 5, which they could possibly close out in Miami.

The LeHeat aren't part of that 72%.

But, seriously...if the LeHeat don't come up with way to stop the Thunder's offense, LeBron may be ringless again.

But, who's counting?

I expect Raging Demon LeBron show up tonight (and hopefully an energized wade) for game 2. LETS GO HEAT!

In other NBA news: Yesterday while I was driving to the office, I heard Jim Rome's interview with Commissioner Stern and it got heated when Rome brought up the Hornets and the lottery pick and their block on the Lakers trade. Rome asked if the lottery was fixed, and Stern retorted back with "Have you stopped beating your wife?" (classic Lawyers Loaded Question example)

I was stunned but didn't think much of it, except this morning all the radio shows I listen to during my morning commute talked about it (The Herd/Dan Patrick Show).

TLDR: The commish has sand in his vajajay.

I like Kemp too, but Tom Chambers=underrated.

The dunk over Mark Jackson was so nasty, it wasn't posterized, it was bronzed.
