It's funny, here in Canada pretty much the only time they show NBA games (on TSN) is whenever Toronto is playing or the Suns because of one of their national pride -Steve Nash, I just saw this:

^ Understandable since he sat for half of the 3rd and for the entirety of the 4th.

Got tired of grainy streams so I got NBA League Pass... only to watch Lin not play for the final 22 minutes.

On the upside, I can watch all of the Clips/Bulls/Heat games now.

Must be going senile.. meant to respond to Flipster's response on the previous page.

But in other news, apparently J.R. Smith is closing in on a deal with the Knicks? I thought for sure the Clips would've landed him.

That's only because of all the winning in baseball and football....and it's possible there'll some Linning in basketball this year as well. But don't sweat it: Beantowners feel the same way.

+1, I think Mavs will be the real test...just hope fatigue won't set in on Lin

J.R. Smith to Knicks seems to be official. Meh... another ball hog IMO.

But dang Yummy, surprised to say it, but your Bulls are playing well without Rose.

I remember a year or 2 ago, CHI was able to play with or without Rose and be just as efficient.

Not sure how it was explained back then....

You ain't heard, we don't care for the Knicks, we care for Jeremy Lin. Finished with 26 points, 4 assists, but .. goddamn, he got butterfingers. 9 turnovers, I believe.

Yeah he needs to curb them T/O's; although after having 8 in the first half, he only had 1 in the second half.

He's still only played 8 games with significant minutes, so he still has alot of learning to do.

With that said, the knicks bench was awful tonight - I'm hoping this devastating loss lights a fire under their ass for Sunday.. cause the Mavs are still a tough team to beat.

tough loss for the Clippers (vs Spurs), they were behind the whole time, caught up and had the game... up by 3 with only seconds left... and somehow let the Spurs drop a 3 pointer to tie... then loss in OT

Tough loss for the Bulls as well against the Nets. Bulls didn't have much rhythm and never had the lead. They came close a couple of times but NJ would go on another run.

Dude I was devastated by that loss... the inbounder led CP3 to the half court line and CP3 had to throw the ball away.... but it landed in the hands of a perfectly placed Neal at the top of the 3 pt mark to send it to OT.

I knew it was going to be bad going into OT given how the flow of the game was going all night.

On another note, I must say that since the beginning of Odom's stint with the Mavs, he has sucked and brought nothing to the team except a waste of $10 million

If new additions like Carter and West can come in and gel and do great with the current team I see no reason why he shouldn't be able to.

Watched the entire knicks/mavs game this morning. Great game, very exciting, honestly I thought the Mavs were going to win this. They were playing really well in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs but the Knicks came through in the 4th. Lin had a great game, yea he had 7 turnovers but a few of them were not critical, in that they did not lead to fast break points on the other end. JR Smith played well, what is up with his haircut though, looks like he had a tiara on.

Dallas was trying to shut him down. They were double teaming him a lot, trapping him and really closing in on him when he would drive the lane. With the amount of ball handling and playmaking he does, and the way Dallas was all over him I am surprised he didn't have more. Plus, he was on the floor for 45 freakin mins.

When D'antoni find the right players, his system is pretty devastating. It really spreads the floor for their shooters and driving point guards.

Its not exactly like they way they ran it on the Suns though. Lin doesn't use the dribble handoff to the wing to initiate. He seems to string out the P&R to initiate more so than Nash does (Or maybe he hasn't incorporated the sideline dribble handoff yet? Who knows.)

The Knicks are gonna be really dangerous going forth.

Kobe goes on a rant

PHOENIX (AP) — Kobe Bryant has lashed out at Los Angeles Lakers management for leaving teammate Pau Gasol wondering whether he's about to be traded.

In a postgame monologue punctuated by a couple of profanities, Bryant says the Lakers either need to trade Gasol or come out and say it won't happen.

Bryant's comments came in the aftermath of a 102-90 loss at Phoenix on Sunday night.

Bryant says he doesn't want Gasol to be traded but it's unfair for his teammate to try to play when he doesn't know if he'll be somewhere else the following day.

As Bryant put it, "If they're going to do something, I wish they would just ... do it."

HUGE night for the Thunder, and what a heartbreaker for the Nuggets. Durant with 51, Westbrook with 40, and Ibaka the Shot Blocka with a triple double.

Denver is certainly a lot better than what their record shows though, they've had a tough schedule the whole season ..
