Was it just me or did Stat seems super rusty?

I agree, Lin does need to work on the turn overs; but he's only 23 with 6 games under his belt.

As long as the Linning continues and Lin can carry his on weight, I can overlook the t/o's.

Turnovers aside, he needs to work on his free throws. .77 on his free throws? That's failing in an asian family. Where's my feather duster?

Phew! That was a close one. The Kings were getting close to taking the game at towards the end. We need Rose and Hamilton back. Next game Boston.

I do believe that Lin is under contract by Nike now, and good lord he's gonna get a fat contract next year from somewhere.

He hit a game winner tonight. Geez, the week he's had is what most NBA players probably want in a season or a career.

He'll slow down at some point, but I'd like to hear one of these NBA experts go out on a limb and say when that's actually gonna happen.

Stat hasn't done anything athletic in about a week. So, that was to be expected. But he'll be 'up to speed' quickly.

This is def a conspiracy and David Stern is a genius. I'm actually watching NBA games for the first time since, like 2004.

The feel good sports story of the year (so far).

He hit a fucking game winner on his what, 6th game?!

Huge double-double stats too, but I am a little worried about him taking care of the ball with that many turnovers. Everyone's got a weakness, that's obviously it for Lin.

I'll give that the Knicks had a pretty easy schedule thus far since he started, and I'll even include the Lakers within that group, fucking scrubs. But no, Lakers lack a PG so he was free to do whatever he wanted. The real tests come on the 19th, 22nd and 23rd against Mavs, Hawks and Heat.

If you're a NY fan, you should also be pretty stoked on Shumpert. First, I can't believe he didn't make the rookie team. Second, he LOCKED down on Calderon after Lin really could not guard him. Calderon is a tough defensive assignment in general because he's so damn quick and crafty IMO. I know alot of Knick fans are up and down with this guy, but Shumpert is slowly emerging as a fine defensive guard.

(He still got torched by D.Rose though. )

Just to be clear here, Herr Mod...your loyalties are still with the Bulls, right?

Cuz, I'd have to declare war on you if it weren't.

Yeah I want to see how he compares to some elite pg's. Hes playing my kings tonight, tyreke evans usually makes it tough for some guards to guard him so we will see how he pars.

LOL. Yes, Bulls all the way. In fact, I generally hate NYC sports and sports fans in general. Shumpert was coined the "Rose Stopper" before NYC even played the Bulls on some blogs. I was LOL'ing at that.

they are hosting another easy team Friday (Hornets), but will be hosting the Mavs on Sunday... that's going to be the real test. Suppose they win tonight (and looks like they are going to), and win Friday, that'll be 8 in a row... I don't really see them winning Sunday vs Dallas, the streak has got to end eventually... I'm just sayin'
