failhard.
Demar DeRozan should have won last year. Blake Griffin jumps over the hood of a car, woopie-fuckin'-doo.
#682
^^ especially since it turned a sponsor-infected spectacle last year.

That's one of the very reasons no team has picked him up until now even though he said he wants to comeback.
Bottom line is Sheed carries no trade value and if the Lakers do sign him this is just another bumbling move by the front office.

I don't think it makes sense either but I believe the thinking is IN CASE they ship Pau or Bynum, they have Sheed and the other bigs to shore up the front.
Not saying I like it, just saying, I believe that's the thinking. Not that something is necessarily in the works, but in case something happens.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was injured in Sunday evening's All-Star game in Orlando, Fla., was examined after the game. Results of a CT scan revealed that Bryant suffered a nasal fracture. It is expected that Bryant will be examined and re-evaluated by ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. John Rehm on Monday when he returns to Los Angeles.

Broke my nose twice playing basketball....suck it up Kobe...
In all seriousness, I've never fixed mine and have been playing for 10+ years with it. For a guy that plays with injuries, a nose will be the least of his worries.

Why did Wade have to foul that hard in the first place, in an All Star game?
Also, anyone disappointed when Lebron just refused to take the last shot? Even Kobe was jawing at him for the last minute or so for not going for it. I guess he wanted Lebron to challenge him for the win and Lebron ran away again.

This is why I aint too worried about the heat when it comes to playoff time. They might look great during the regular season, but come playoff time, lets see if Lebron is still LOST in the 4th quarter like he always has in the 9 season hes been playing.

But on the real. I just think it was wade being just competitive. Probably intending to just slap the ball with 2 hands. Wade's biggest problem is arguing with the refs when there is a non call on a foul that should've been a call.

I dunno, I kinda like hard fouls in an All-star game. Gramps Kobe being competitive with Wade and Lebron? Gimme that all day...fun to watch.
At least we know these guys are really playing. Made up for the stupid All-Star saturday stuff.

A wasted opportunity by Lebron by not taking the last shot or even shooting instead of passing and turning the ball over. This guy was lights out offensively and defensively in the second half, he was the main reason the East came back he should have taken the last shot even if he didn't make it he would have gained more respect than shying away from it.

...and besides, we all know Rose is no star. Who wants to see Rose play? I sure don't.

Bingo. And Deng didn't play after falling on his previously injured wrist. I don't think Deng got reinjured but yeah, no point risking their health in the ASG.

West won. Went down to the last shot. We lost because coach spo wasn't coaching. but on a serious note. It was pretty funny the coaches were drawing up plays in the timeout.

Still, probably would not watch the ASG. I think they have lost their allure.
