failhard.
I hope the Bulls fucking murder the Lakers, only because Derek Fisher Pied-Pipered the NBPA to go along with this lockout bullshit.
Serious, I want Murder 1 charged on every Bull by night's end!

^Should be a good season as players like Kobe have been working to keep in shape during this little time out. But, God only knows how Blake will fit in...

Do you think Brandon Roy is going to stay up there?

Is there going to be an abbreviated free agency period?
#15
Yes I think so. Its gonna be crazy.
There will be some players waived, some players placed on the amnesty waiver, some players that have said they want out. I can't wait to see how it pans out.

Dwight, CP3, and Deron are the big names that are either up for FA or 1 year from it (i.e. if they don't get traded, their teams will get nothing for them).
Then there's the whole amnesty thing....some players might be waived to either get under the cap or reduce luxury tax load. Baron Davis might be waived (Cavs drafted Kyrie Irving), so there is talk of him coming to the Lakers (meh). Teams may waive players with big contracts, which means a host of veteran players will be on the market, looking to join a winner.
Lakers might waive MWP and/or Luke Walton....any takers?

Joking aside...I wonder what's available for Chicago at shooting guard because, IMO, that's the biggest area of need.
D-Rose can't do everything.

Here are some amnesty options. If you are looking for a 2 guard (shooting guard), there are plenty of options. Not sure who would mesh with D-Rose though. He's a ball dominant point guard, so the guy you want is good shooter and a great defender. That way you'd get the benefit of spacing and drive-and-kick shooting as well as keeping DRose's energy conserved on defense.
...then again, what do I know....here's the link:

Sweet game! DRose came through.
But throughout, the Lakers actually looked like they hustled and played well. Oh well, chalk up another christmas loss! More reason to drink up last night...

^^I dunno Doom....no Chandler and no Barea is a HUGE difference. They're pretty much back to being the Mavs before those 2 joined...no inside presence and no speedy PG.
IMO, its wide open for the Heat to win this year. The west is up for grabs and I don't see anyone matching the Heat over there, unless some sort of major trade goes down somewhere. But even then, the Heat having been together for a year and through the playoffs gives them a leg up on any players that get together this year.
