Good win for OKC they deserve it. The Lakers flat out need to make some changes especially start with a new coaching staff because Mike Brown just doesn't get it. I can't tell you how many times this year the Lakers looked like the Cavaliers with Lebron the guy is not a good coach. I think we should keep the core of Kobe/Pau/Metta/Bynum and maybe Sessions but get rid of anyone else. Only trade Pau if you can get someone good but I don't see that happening but you never know.

OKC because we can say we lost to the champions...

If the Lakers didn't "implode" after last season, they will now. The post-game reports are saying Kobe & Bynum are flat out blaming Gasol, & Kobe has reportedly said the entire did not play hard enough.
So, I'm betting on Brown & Gasol going bye-bye.

In my humble opinion, the Lakers need a major overhaul.
Kobe, getting ready for retirement needs help. Needs scoring.
Pau, not the dominate force below as before, trade him while he has still value,
Bynum, even though he is young, he is obviously not the person you want to build around with, trade him and let him be somebody's else is problem. Dude has no team ethics, a crying little bitch, pretty much a 2nd generation Shaq.
Sessions, keep him for next year unless you can seriously upgrade that spot with a trade or so.
Metta, I'm not sure with him, although he's a pita, when he is in his "A" game he is worth keeping.
Bench, get rid of all of those fuckers.
Basicially like when the Lakers hit rock bottom after the shaq era, they will come back I think they are a year or so from going back to the finals. The Lakers really screwed up when they didn't hire Brian Shaw as their head coach. Maybe they can try again next year since he is still an assistant.
At least they got rid of their overpaid cheerleader in Luke Walton

In LA, we riot after championships....c'mon Oklahoma....
http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2012...game-8-injured
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Authorities say eight people are hurt after shots rang out in Oklahoma City as thousands of people left the NBA playoff game between the Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman Lara O'Leary says seven people were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds after the melee Monday night. She says a pregnant woman was also taken to the hospital after she was assaulted in the scuffle.
O'Leary says the pregnant woman and six of the gunshot victims are in good condition Tuesday morning. One person is in critical condition.
Capt. Dexter Nelson said some scuffles broke out in a crowd of people walking east toward the Bricktown district, a popular nightlife area.
"Some girls got into it with a group of guys, and the guys opened fire on the women," Nelson said.
He said the shooting occurred at 11:35 p.m.
Nelson said earlier reports of two suspects being arrested were not accurate. He said police stopped one vehicle near the incident and had detained and questioned the occupants. However, he said it was unclear how or even if the vehicle's occupants were involved in the shooting.
Nelson said the investigation was ongoing.

Lakers really need a better bench or whatnot.
Can't win on Kobe alone. He's shooting like 30-40/game and playing probably 36-40minutes/game.
Shoot just last night with his 42points. That's 46% of the points made by the Lakers. What a beast!

All the Lakers need to do is sign another 1.5-Beef-types and you are set. With Pau, you are almost there. Just need .5 player.

Why is it hard for the Miami Heat to get Flag 2s and ejections? Limbs need to be dismembered before they're even considered, it seems. -__-

Psycho T's flagrant, at least he tried to make a play for the ball. Also, it seems Wade drew the ball back into his body right before he got hit since Amundson and Tyler were in his grill, so Tyler smacking Wade's face seemed accidental.

I noticed past 4-5 pages, all you been talking about is foul this that about Heat...
I cannot wait to see what you would bring to this thread with Heat fouling another player or how dirty they were on tomorrow's game.
Anyway, Heat will close out tomorrow's game...
I am also taking Spurs over Thunders on Sunday's game..

Btw, welcome to the professional sports.
In any kind of professional sport event, league/team will protect their star player(s) over anybody! Nothing new.
Another great example would be Lakers vs. Nuggets on game 6 (?), where Kobe should been tossed from that game, when he fouled Kenneth Faried, but he didn't.... hmmm, I wonder why???

I'm no Heat hater, they just love bringing attention to themselves and obviously I and a lot of fans pick up on it. I've talked about a lot of teams and players and the good and bad shit they do, seems you're just singling out what I say about the Heat. Some homer mentality you got there.

Wade should have been suspended for this shit. Every time I watch him, he digs himself deeper and deeper into douche-land. Him getting all up in Spoelstra's face tonight was prima donna stuff. At the same time, Spo should not have let him do that. The coach should always be the biggest asshole on the court, and keep these superstars in check.

If you really want to microscope on a player for what they did/done wrong, I sure can do that for ANYONE?? For a while I was like, "alright, this guy has a point.", but now, all you do is pin point on what Heat are doing/done wrong in each game. Am I wrong? If you say I am wrong, then you obviously not being honest with yourself. GTFO.
attention to themselves? care to explain to me?
This must be NC thing? hahahaha. Glad I am not from there.

But hey, I'll throw you a bone. Here's some "DAHEETRULZ" news!
LeBJ and Wade calling Granger out
Good on them.
These two are easily the most entertaining duo. I believe Wade threw yet another full-court pass to LeBron a few minutes later.
LeBJ and Wade calling Granger out
"I'm all for standing up for your guys, but certain things you just can't keep doing," Wade said. "My message to Granger was that you just can't keep running up into people's faces for altercations. We're not fighting on this basketball court, so let's not act like we're going to fight. We can be physical and do all that, but certain things got to stop. Are you out here to play basketball or are you out here to be a tough guy?"

Do you think that only Wade and LeBron are the only two players that talk shit, call out on players?
You obviously don't watch or understand NBA at all. rofl.
Every fucking players does that. C'mon!!! Only you hear about Wade and LeBron because that's what can get us attention more than anything.
If you were to be analyst, would like to write a article about Wade & LeBron "calling out" on Granger, or on Mike Miller "calling out" on Barbosa? You tell me.
Once again, Nothing new.
Yes, Wade & LeBron are most fun combo to watch than any other combo... Durant &Westbrook would be my next pick.

Do you think these don't deserve attention? Just another day in the NBA, right? I threw a statement out there, provided evidence to back my claims up, and I'm getting blasted for doing so. I have nothing against the Heat, but the way they've been playing lately has put me on notice. That is all. You're simply shooting the messenger here, cherry-picking my posts and getting huffy puffy about it because it's your team I happened to talk about.

I don't want to turn this into a Heat vs. world argument thread.
I listen to ESPN radio every morning to work, and Colin Cowherd also mentioned same thing about UD's foul... If league is going suspend UD, then they should also suspend TH.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
It's the playoffs. Hard fouls are bound to happen, and the general philosophy in sports is if you hurt my team, I'm gonna hurt your team. There were plenty of times I've been taken out, and the biggest guys on my team (without any requests or confirmations) would amp up their physicality to "get back" at the other team.
As for last nights game, UD was going for the ball it looked like and was just a hard play off foul. Pittman was slow to box out and chose to foul instead.
I don't think suspensions are warranted unless its clearly dangerous and clearly not in the act of a basketball play - like the Bynum/Barea and Artest/Hardin incidents.
