You know what's boring basketball? One player (like Melo) throwing up 35 shots a game while 4 other people stand around watching..
agreed and I meant the symbol to be sarcastic. If I want to learn about X's and O's, I watch the Spurs. There is something fun about playing the game the right way or old school way or whatever else you want to call it. I just see them destroy teams that are suppose to be better and they make it look so easy. IMO, that is fun. I don't care if it doesn't make it to Sportcenter. Steve Kerr said it best last night, they rarely take a bad shot and that is a testiment to Popovich and his philosophy. The players are bought in to the system.

Definitely 5 on 8 tonight. How the fuck do you miss a blatant head swipe? And Pierce given a foul on a non-foul? Fucking .. goddammit. I feel so fucking terrible for Rondo, he played with so much heart tonight and would not quit.

It was such a shame that the refs spoiled a game for the ages by Rondo...

I accept that Lebron/Wade are gonna get more calls, but tonight was just absurd...

Wow, why did the LeHeat need OT to beat the old and busted Celtics?

If the LeHeat were really trying, they would've beaten Boston in 1 minute.

Was there any coincidence to the fact that the Hornets won the draft lottery the same Hornets that at the beginning of the season traded there most valuable player Chris Paul the same Hornets who were controlled for most of the season by the NBA and only recently sold to Tom Benson the owner of the Saints. Can you say fixed?

I am just glad they stayed focus and closed the dam game out. I wouldn't care if they needed 10qtrs.

I agree not even this years Spurs could overcome some of those calls.

I wasn't invested in either Boston or Miami last night, but man I felt bad for the C's after that loss.

I know that people are saying that the refs cost them the game, but I don't entirely buy that - the only blatant error was the foul on Rondo in OT, and MAYBE the offensive foul on Pierce that got him ejected - but those two fouls weren't the issue. The issue was that it took a lights-out Rondo to keep the C's in contention. I mean come on, when is Rondo ever that money jump shots? I wouldn't expect him to do it again anytime soon.

Either way, my hopes of seeing the Spurs vs. Celtics in this years finals seems to be a pipe dream now.

As a lakers fan, I don't want the Celtics to win anything. I have tons of respect for the current team, but if you think spurs and lakers have history, its nothing in comparison to the decades long competition between the Lakers and Celtics...

That said, as Tommy Heinsohn says every other Celtics broadcast he did, the Celtics really got jobbed yesterday. I don't think it cost em the game either, but refs shouldn't have that much input on the game especially when it gets to the conference finals and finals. They've done a good job this postseason for the most part, but they've been horrible in this series in particular.

I personally don't think it affects the outcome, as you should be able to play within the parameters of the game presented to you. But I just don't want to know the refs are there at all.

I just have to say as much as I hate the Celtics, I would rather have them win against Miami. I just don't like Miami. Any team > Miami, as long as Miami loses. After that I hope the Celtics don't win another championship.

It really sucks to see how Rondo played so hard and so much heart that they lost the game.

Vintage video game Ray Allen. Compare his shooting form to the playoffs this year, he no longer has any lift and to get what lift he has left, he often has to bring his feet together as he jumps. As the token fat guy that only relies on jump shots, shooting form is everything .. If anything even feels off, the ball goes another direction.

Good thing for the Heat that they won the game otherwise everyone would be talking about why Lebron took a fadeaway jumper at the end of regulation while guarded by Rondo a 6'1 guard that has a very slight build compared to his.

I guess I wasn't the only one that thought that the Hornets getting the first pick in the draft was a fix.

Down by 17, c'mon Popovich. Then again, still 3rd QTR, still a chance to at least lessen the blow if they lose.

But, if they don't win tonight, there's always tomorrow, as I didn't expect them to take both.

Makes sense when you remember that the first trade for CP3 had much better components.

Good win by the Thunder but I hardly believe they can carry that kind of performance for the rest of the series. They were desperate and San Antonio weren't focused, game 4 should be good I look for a good back and forth close game.

Wow... LB is the ONLY one who decided to come out of the locker room suited up to play tonight...and yet everyone is so quick to criticize. I also said this a few pages back, HEAT can nit win with LB scoring only. DWade also needs to show and have at minimal a decent game bringing in 22-25pts... i think he had 8pts in the 3rd qtr and LB had HALF of the entire HEAT production, approx 32pts when tbey had 52pts total...sad

Oh, the irony. Lebron left Cleveland to get some actual team support. Turns out, he's doing the same shit tonight that he did back then, being the one force keeping his team in it.

Even if they did not show up and stayed home, they would still beat ANY team by 2342423042319742 points just by sitting on the couch and on their Le@$$es.

See? I left out at least 2234 digits. So, I'm being realistic.
