The most far-fetched rumor I've heard is that the Lakers were looking to trade for Paul Pierce.
From CP3 and Dwight to Paula. Even though he's an LA kid, I'd have a hard time accepting him as a Laker.

On a serious note, the Bulls are walking wounded...Deng, Noah, Gibson, Rose, are all injured.

Sure, if Gawd interferes, the margin of victory is probably into the hundreds only...instead of thousands.

So...with that in mind, we can really attribute the Bucks' win to ONE THING ONLY.
The LeHeat felt sorry for Milwaukee and decided to give them a victory. Honestly, this type of sportsmanship and kindheartedness has not been seen in ever. The LeHeat are as kind as they are beyond-great.

On a real note I don't expect them to win all games. I would like them to win all games but that won't happen. The bucks aren't a bad team. Bogut is a beast with blocks and Jennings is a rising pg.

Didn't catch the highlights. I'd say if it weren't for an NFL playoff weekend, their loss would've had a lot more press/exposure.

failhard.
I'm only seeing the highlights, but Rose looked pretty slow compared to his usual speed. It's a given though, considering he told the press his toe will be bothering him all season.

Deng will be out for awhile...DENGIT!
It's all up to the Bulls depth now.

I shoot people
OMG, I wasn't paying much attention to the other divisions, but between Southwest and Northwest... there's a good chance the Lakers and Clippers might not even make post season!

I think the players would have liked Shaw to be coach but the history of PJ's assistants to head coach winning percentages are horrible so I think the Lakers made the right move. You notice no other team hired him as a head coach either right? Plus Buss wanted to move on from the triangle and I think that would have been to much for Shaw to handle anyway.

Kevin the Love machine re-signs with the 'Wolves for 4 years. At this point, I can appreciate team loyalty, and I think the Wolves are gonna make heads start spinning next season.

You know, on one hand I agree. Lamar and Pau were the best tandem we had going. They were a good mix of length, skill, and lockerroom presence. Bynum may start, but I think LO and Pau really made things work very efficiently on the inside. I was sad to see them leave, initially.
However, I do believe the CP3 trade would have been good ...in the long run. Pau and Lamar are older players. CP3 is just beginning to peak and probably has 5 good to great years in him. The thing about leaving the Triangle is that you are left without a good system...and this is where a good point guard would smooth over the transition and make any offense look good.
Who know whether that would have been successful, but our big 3 would have consisted of arguably the best shooting guard, arguably the 2nd best center, and arguably the best point guard in the game. CP3 would, by just instinct, made Mike Brown look like a offensive genius, and he would have had the defensive skills to match.

Remember the Clippers aren't this improved just because CP3 they added Butler and Billups to what they already have and now also bring Mo off the bench which he is better suited for anyway that's why there are better. CP3 alone would not have made the Clippers much better than they already where without those other additions.

^^Hey, good point about the clips. They have 3 present and former all-star point guards.
IMO, if the Lakers could have snagged one of those guys, things would be a little different. I think Chauncey wanted to come to the Lakers as well.
