mystikk 11-26-2011 04:56 PM

I hope the Bulls fucking murder the Lakers, only because Derek Fisher Pied-Pipered the NBPA to go along with this lockout bullshit. :annoyed:

Serious, I want Murder 1 charged on every Bull by night's end! :tantrum:

Even if I got free court-side season tickets to any team... screw 'em. I hate the NBA.

Mr Marco 11-28-2011 02:53 PM

Though I do sorta agree that Fisher needs to go....

^Should be a good season as players like Kobe have been working to keep in shape during this little time out. But, God only knows how Blake will fit in...

Yup, I had high hopes for him (I still kinda do, as I've always thought he was pretty good). In Mike Brown's system, he's going to need his 3 point shot to start working again like it did in Portland.

Do you think Brandon Roy is going to stay up there?

Yumcha 11-29-2011 02:26 PM

Is there going to be an abbreviated free agency period?

CarbonGray Earl 11-29-2011 02:30 PM

Yes I think so. Its gonna be crazy.

There will be some players waived, some players placed on the amnesty waiver, some players that have said they want out. I can't wait to see how it pans out.

Any key players hitting free agency...?

CarbonGray Earl 11-29-2011 03:07 PM

Dwight, CP3, and Deron are the big names that are either up for FA or 1 year from it (i.e. if they don't get traded, their teams will get nothing for them).

Then there's the whole amnesty thing....some players might be waived to either get under the cap or reduce luxury tax load. Baron Davis might be waived (Cavs drafted Kyrie Irving), so there is talk of him coming to the Lakers (meh). Teams may waive players with big contracts, which means a host of veteran players will be on the market, looking to join a winner.

Lakers might waive MWP and/or Luke Walton....any takers?

Yumcha 11-29-2011 03:20 PM

OIC...Dwight, Deron, C3PO all to the LeHeat!

Yumcha 11-29-2011 03:23 PM

Joking aside...I wonder what's available for Chicago at shooting guard because, IMO, that's the biggest area of need.

D-Rose can't do everything.

:what: This is a startling revelation.

I hear Sasha Vujacic is in Turkey, ready to annoy people.

CarbonGray Earl 11-29-2011 04:29 PM

Here are some amnesty options. If you are looking for a 2 guard (shooting guard), there are plenty of options. Not sure who would mesh with D-Rose though. He's a ball dominant point guard, so the guy you want is good shooter and a great defender. That way you'd get the benefit of spacing and drive-and-kick shooting as well as keeping DRose's energy conserved on defense.

...then again, what do I know....here's the link:

Mizouse 12-25-2011 07:50 PM

Yumcha 12-26-2011 07:11 AM

Did LeSucky Rose clinch the win for Da Bulls?!? Oh yes, he did.

Yumcha 12-26-2011 07:11 AM

And :woot: @ LeHeat winning! :woot:

CarbonGray Earl 12-26-2011 10:52 AM

Sweet game! DRose came through.

But throughout, the Lakers actually looked like they hustled and played well. Oh well, chalk up another christmas loss! More reason to drink up last night...

Doom878 12-26-2011 08:35 PM

Good win because Miami players came in shape. The Mavs will gel and get better even though no Chandler in the middle sure helps Miami.

CarbonGray Earl 12-27-2011 12:03 AM

^^I dunno Doom....no Chandler and no Barea is a HUGE difference. They're pretty much back to being the Mavs before those 2 joined...no inside presence and no speedy PG.

IMO, its wide open for the Heat to win this year. The west is up for grabs and I don't see anyone matching the Heat over there, unless some sort of major trade goes down somewhere. But even then, the Heat having been together for a year and through the playoffs gives them a leg up on any players that get together this year.

Gfaze 12-27-2011 12:10 AM

:haha: Lakers

Doom878 12-27-2011 11:15 PM

Man Norris Cole out of Cleveland St. Another great Cleveland import. :D

Kings :what: ass rapped last night against Portland.

DaChef320 12-28-2011 12:56 PM

Bulls lost to GS the day after they beat the Lakers
