Age has caught up with the Spurs, that time off they had after beating the Clips didn't help...the Thunder's youth and talent is now imposing its will in the playoffs!

Re the Wade "Hero Ball" play one of the national writers saw a replay of that play and a pass to Chalmers wasn't feasible.

Out of curiousity can't you also credit Spo for getting them back in the game? He's screwed either way. If they play bad it's his fault and good it's the players. I'm not saying he should be back because I have no clue. I just don't like making opinions on firing a coach when I haven't watched every single play several times like the Heat organization has.

Spo gets no credit because he doesn't deserve it, these guys would be right where they are without Spo the difference is with a better coach they would be reigning NBA champs right now going for back to back . If Miami does get rid of Spo and get themselves a better coach then you too will see the difference.

He doesn't deserve it? May I remind you he was the coach lead the heat from a miserable 17 win season to a 55 win season before Lebron and bosh got there. Everything is overshadowed on the media. Look on how many implosions there could have happens but he was clear headed and didn't let it get to his head. No coach is perfect. Respect is the one thing he doesn't get enough because of his team situation, I don't expect you to understand but for us that watch and see every game they have played from the beginning does underßtand. With that being said if it doesn't go to plan this season, then every position and job should be evaluated.

^ I agree, Spo is a good coach... but the caliber of players Miami has outshines his coaching talent, and unfortunately with talents like Wade/James/Bosh, people demand nothing less than winning all the time - Spo not being able to secure the #1 seed in the east this season was what alot of analyst considered sacrilege.

Crappy situation for Spo since he did take a subpar Miami team with just Dwade to a winning record, but ever since Bron (and Bosh) landed in Miami, he never gets any credit and always gets scrutinized for anything less than perfection.

You have your facts mixed up first of all the team that finished with 15 wins was riddled with injuries that year Wade played 51 games Shaq played only 33games, Haslem 49, Mourning 25, and you had the likes of Ricky Davis, a broken down Jason Williams, Chris Quinn etc. that season was a wash. The season when Spo took over Wade played 79 games Haslem played 71 the Heat drafted Michael Beasley, had Shawn Marion for half a season, they were much better because they didn't have nearly as many injuries as the year before and they WON 43 games not 55 that year and the next year the year before Lebron and Bosh they WON 47 not 55. Spo doesn't get respect because he doesn't deserve it because he has never earned it.

Your missing the point here. He's a new coach, of course he will have flaws. I'm not lookin at the stats directly but still is the biggest turnaround for any team in nba history as well as his first year of coaching. Look at D'Antoni, he didn't even last a combined full season with the Knicks as head coach. It take most coaching than you think to get players in sync and rhythm.

Wrong again that wasn't the biggest turnaround in NBA history the Celtics went from 24 wins to 66 when they got Garnett and Allen, in fact the Heats turnaround isn't in the top 5 of turnarounds. If in fact he had the stats you say I maybe I might have a different opionion but his turnaround was due to getting better players and less injuries nothing he did. He is a newer coach and yes its a learning experience but in 4 years it doesn't seem like he has learned much and that's the point your missing.

My baby niece could coach the LeHeat and they'd go undefeated if they didn't play the feel-sorry-for-opposition card every so often.

With THAT much LeTalent, there is no need for a coach.

Every play is simple: pass to LeMiniMe or pass to LeBron or pass to LeWhine. Everyone else...? Admire. And worship.

This is a 3-person team. They are the model of efficiency and simplifying basketball. Soon, one day, all teams will emulate and floor 3 players instead of 5.

Well, okay...sorry...3 players and 2 cheerleaders.

Okay okay. Phew. Us LeHeat fans need to realize that the LeHeat PURPOSELY want to be down this late in the game to show just how GREAT they are.

They will mount their comeback now. You all watch. In LeBron, LeWhine, and LeMiniMe (who is not playing but will score from the bench sitting) I trust.

So, the LeHeat are just being respectful to their elders...they respect Grandpas.

I get it. This is honorable. This is what makes the LeHeat such a great team.

"LeBron James tonight, tomorrow, before, then during Game 6, and forever."

Miami better load Bosh up with whatever painkiller they can find and make him play 35 minutes in Game 6. I better see needles sticking out of his arms and ass.

But, snarking aside, this series is FAR from being over. One win in Boston and we got a Game 7 in a hostile South Beach...

I believe statistically though, no LeBron-led team has ever recovered from a Game 5 loss.

If they win Game 5, different stat.

I love how this thread gets whole lot of posts every time Miami loses.

Yummy has been doing this since who knows when, but some of you just cracks me up.

I am curious to know why they limited Bosh so much... He didn't even play 4th Q, right?
hmm... Can Spurs and Miami pull off the next game? I hope both series goes to game 7.. More NBA for us.

OKC vs Boston?
Spurs vs Boston?
OKC vs Miami?
Spurs vs Miaimi?

Which one would you guys rather watch?
I am gonna go with OKC vs. Miami as my first choice, then I will take Spurs vs. Boston.
Young guns going at it, or good old classic match up.

Game shape would likely be my theory as to why LeMiniMe was benched. That, or...well, the LeHeat was giving the Old Fogies a chance. So, naturally, sit one of the Big Guns.

I wanted Spurs/Celtics - since it just feels like it would be great to see some of the "old timers" go at it. KG vs. Timmy is totally nostalgic.

If not that, yea Thunder/Heat would be a good match up too.

yea, after that, probably would rather see Spurs/Heat over Thunder/Celtics.... but sadly, so far this looks like the favored matchup.

OKC vs. Boston? Perkins vs. Garnett getting physical at the basket?

Could be an interesting series. Still want the Spurs to come back, but Popovich & the team will have to work some major magic.
