I'm Down Right Fierce!
Eh. I've been following the Knicks (and clippers) this season and I understand Amare's frustrations. He's been hobbled all year, having to deal with team chemistry issues, and got only 9 shots last night... meanwhile, Melo holds the ball for 15+ seconds on the shot clock and puts up a sub-par 12 for 26.
Still, Stat's getting paid 100 million and should know better than to risk injury like that in the playoffs.
I didn't think the Knicks could beat the heat, but I imagined the series would atleast go to 6 games. But with this Melo iso-ball crap, the key to beating the Knicks is to force Melo to take jump shots because he's holding the ball 70% of the time.
I've never followed Melo before this season, but I heard the hype that he's one of the best in the game... eh, he's good at scoring but makes everyone else around him worse.

OKC-Dallas series have been a nail-biter so far. Dallas just looks too old, Dirk is still awesome but Vinsanity, Terry, Kidd look faded down the stretch. I think OKC's young legs will be the difference, maybe this series goes 6 games but I doubt 7. It's just got to be so disappointing having victory snatched out of the Mavs' grasp when Durant made the game-winner in Game 1.
I'm anxious to see how the Grizzlies respond to blowing that huge lead. That game was phenomenal, watched the entire 2nd half.

The team comes home tomorrow. Hopefully our fans can rally behind them.

Then again the Spurs' big three aren't any spring chickens and they could run the West if they keep planning like they did down the stretch.
I credit Dallas for playing a hard-nosed series but the Thunder are planning with incentive after last year's conference final.

failhard.
Jrue and Iggy shat on them in the 2nd half. The Bulls completely disappeared, left me fuming.
Denver pulled so close last night. I really wanted them to come back and steal it all, but whenever they got close, they screw up somehow and end up falling back behind. They're so goddamned fast though.
At least Boston pulled a comeback yesterday, sans Rondo. Completely unexpected.

Some insight to how badly A'stupid injured his hand...
"He didn't haul off and punch the glass; he hit it out of frustration," a person who witnessed Stoudemire hitting the glass surrounding the fire extinguisher told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard. "He kind of slapped it, but with a closed fist. He said he thought it was plastic instead of glass.
"Half of his hand was just hanging off. It was really bad. Blood was just squirting out. That's why they had the paramedics come in, because they thought he might have punctured an artery because of how much blood was coming out."
A second league source said that amid the chaotic scene in the locker room, people could be heard calling for towels to tend to the injured Stoudemire, who already had bled onto the floor.

^^Geez Yum, its not like you to draw things out like this.
BTW, I thought the A'stupid nickname was a little silly until I read the bold:
Since when are those things plastic? Break the plastic in case of emergency?
