Poor Rose...foot injuries again. Dammit. Well, whatever...he just needs to be healthy for the playoff run.

So, I admit reading Steve Rosenbloom's column got me thinking on this: but, do you peeps agree that LeWade is the NBA's whiniest player?

The article is hilarious but having thought it over, I kinda do agree with him. LeWade's worse than Antoine Walker who IMO took the cake for the biggest baby on the court. But, hey...it works. Refs makes calls in his favor.

Without a doubt, yes on the LeWade thing. Every possession, he cries about missed calls.

I agree but not as bad as Antoine walker. I hate when he doesn't get a call and he's always the last person to get out of the backcourt.

Cuz, I think LeWade takes the whining to a whole new level. This is Rosenbloom's advise to Rose...which is hilarious, BTW...

I never thought I’d lobby for this. I never thought I would advocate for such a change. I never thought I’d cave in. But as much as I hate to say it, Derrick Rose has to be more like Dwyane Wade.

It’s a shame, it can become laughable, but it appears Rose has no choice but to go full-metal Wade in acting like a baby on the court and complaining to officials about every play.
And the best part...

Say it to the officials. Everytime. All the time. Whine. Carp. Cry. Complain. Plead. Beg. Demand. It’s all right there in the “Idiots Guide to NBA Superstardom,’’ somewhere between “Bling’’ and “Decision, The.’’ When you’re in Miami on Thursday, Derrick, ask Wade for an autographed copy.

Personally, I think Rose does shut his trap a bit too much. He should go after the officials more to lobby for more calls. He's going to get killed out there...

Didn't Rose already get fined though, for mouthing off about the officials?

Or I guess it's ok as long as you complain that you're victim of a foul, & not the one charged with it.

Man, it sucks we lost, but that such a close game with the Jazz tonight. There were a couple sketchy calls, but it was definitely a nail biter.

I want to know where the Clippers came from. When I left, they & OKC were within' 5 points of each other going into the 4th.

I watched almost the entire Clippers/Thunder game. Thunder just went completely dry, they could not get any offense going. Blake had a couple huge back to back dunks late in the 4th that really killed the Thunders morale. Honestly, it looked like the Thunder just gave up.

but isn't it safe to say, they're NOT playing as hard because they don't want to risk any injuries?

Possibly, I dunno they showed them on the bench and they just all looked depressed. Durant and Westbrook went like 1/13 I think in the second half.

yea I watched the game as well. Thunder weren't getting any easy shots, and Clips were sending them to the line instead. Thunder weren't converting at the line, which is pretty sad for the best free throw shooting team in the league. Clippers have always had success against the Thunder, I can't really explain why. Even last season.

ps. what's with people at the dodgers game booing chris paul and his son? I guess Laker fans don't like CP3.

Yes plus he complained about getting cheap hit after the Villanueva flagrant. It's not like he doesn't complain either.

Well, I'll state that I'm a Dodgers/Lakers fan, which is a pretty common pairing. I'd throw the kings in there as well as the more frequent grouping of 'fandom' in LA.

However, I'm not one of those that hates CP3. Love watching him actually. The Clips made the best of the opportunity, the Lakers got screwed out of theirs. The 2 are mutually exclusive. Not everyone sees it that way.

But by the same token, why would Clipper fans boo Derek Fisher? He's had nothing to do with them other than being an opponent.

Of course we all know the answer is that sports can make fools out of everyone.

I'd say I'm a Clippers/Dodgers fan, but really, I don't care much about baseball, I just grew up like 10 minutes from Dodger's Stadium, whereas the Angels were always further away. There are just like easily 10X the Laker fans vs. Clipper fans, so I guess it's not surprising the majority of people at a Dodgers game (or anywhere else in LA for that matter) would be Laker fans. But I guess it's a bit surprising because he was wearing a dodgers hat and with his son, and I just didn't think Laker fans cared enough about CP to really get the boos going.

Clipper fans were saying there were quite a few cheers (from Laker fans) at the game when Fisher checked in.

Yea I always liked fisher too, I don't know why a lot of clipper fans can't stand him. He got away with quite a few flops against the Clips, but with all the flak BG and CP3 are taking this year for flopping, I don't think clipper fans should be calling out anyone else's flopping either. I always though fish seemed like one of the better guys in the league, and even defended him to a few Laker fans that were bashing him in 2010. They were saying how much he sucked, but I said he'd single handidly win the Lakers a game in the Finals. He came through for me in game 3 that year.

^^thanks for the reply. I think its effed up, to be honest. If he's wearing a Dodger cap at Dodgers stadium, he shouldn't be booed.

I caught the end of the Knicks game, they were on fire lol. Just looked up the stats on the game 19-32 from downtown, yea that will get it done.

Lakers got destroyed, I don't even know what happened we were playing great then all of a sudden the Spurs went on an 18-0 run to end the half! Then it was all down hill from there.

The Knicks were shooting lights out....

I don't think the Spurs are THAT good, like I didn't think the Lakers were THAT good when the beat them in SA.

The answer is in the middle somewhere. Kobe hasn't played in any of these games either, so there's really no telling who's better. The spurs were better for this game. Tony Parker looked great.

yep, and those are the guys that think their opinion matters and think they know better than everyone else, hence being the most vocal of all fans. Sadly, when you have as many fans as the lakers do, you end up with a lot of these types of people. Probably just as many dumbass laker fans as there are total clipper fans, haha. Not that Clippers don't have their share of dumbasses too, but just in a proportionally smaller number.

I've been saying Steve Novak needs to be in the 3-pt contest the last 4 years. I think he's finally getting the recognition in NY, and I think he'll get his shot next season.

D12 apparently called into the Magic owner during the game last night and said he would not play under SVG...

Looks like the Magic officially have two Big Babies on the team...

^ No! I need the Magic to lose the last 5 games so the Knicks can make it to the 6th seed in the east.

Dont want them to face your Bulls or Le Heat in the first round

As not a fan of either team, I really want to see a Knicks/Heat playoff series, which looks like it may just happen. I suppose if the Knicks move up to 6, and play like the Pacers, they have a shot to advance, and I can wait for the 2nd round, but I don't want to risk that.
