It's a small sample but yeah both teams' shot selection was piss poor. How many 3 point bricks did Kidd and Stevenson throw up before Dirk said "I got this". The east finalist will have a field day with that crappy shot selection. Is this what continued onto the 4th? Kobe kept them in it in the 3rd. Every jumper he tossed was a no-net touching swish, amazing accuracy.

I realize that basketball is a team sport but if Pau Gasol is playing horrible in the playoffs and with one of our main players not playing to his abilities that takes pressure off of the Mavs both ways offense and defense its like playing 5 on 4 if his play doesn't get any better there is no way the Lakers will win.
That being said if there is any team that can take 4 out of the next 5 from the Mavs its the Lakers.

If Pau can't make Dirk play defense, Dirk will be better on offense.Pau isn't the Pau of the last 2 years. He's been pretty crappy this year. Might be time to trade him for his brother.
IMO, win or lose, I don't think this team should stay together next year...gotta change it up and during a lockout season, it might be the best time to get those players that have only next year left on their contract (Dwight and CP3 come to mind).
