i think they had 11 in the first half alone...

i dont know watch basketball often, but i could definitely tell they were forcing their passes big time.

when they slowed down, they would start knocking shots down.. but sometimes they try to play to fast for their own good.

PS. Ariza is a 3 pt. machine.

dayum! I don't have it televised here in Vancouver, just watching the game cast on ESPN... but the Grizzlies vs Spurs game looks like an awesome game! Spurs tied up with a 3 pointer with 1.7 seconds left!!! Now, it's OT!!!

Can someone explain to me why Memphis didn't foul the Spurs on the inbound pass with one second left, leading by 3?

Spurs really pulled that win out of their ass.

I saw most of the 2nd half and OT of that Spurs game. Memphis had them most of the 2nd half and choked at the end. I thought for sure the Spurs were done when Manu's 3 was ruled a 2 and then he was inbounding when I thought for sure he was taking the GW shot. Then Parker took over OT. Great game although I would've liked the upset. I'm a fan of Marc Gasol and Zach was playing great.

Those were some crazy games last night the both the Spurs and Thunder comeback to win at the end of the game.

In my opinion Durant and Rose are quickly turning into the best players in the NBA.

cause w/ 1.7 sec left, you are kinda catching and shooting. I think they would've gotten a shot up and gotten 3 at the line (or even the chance of it going in, for a 4pt play to win the game)

What's weird to me is no one even seemed to consider the option that Z-bo could've missed the 2nd FT on purpose. Spurs did have a timeout, but i'd think after the miss, would take almost a second off the clock if they caught a clean rebound. One tip and it's probably game over. I guess if there was time left, it'd give them the option for a lob/tip in on the inbound.

I thought the same thing. I wouldn't have fouled at the end because if the shooter looks like he's even remotely going into a shot motion, its 3 shots.

I would have played the 3 pointer differently. I would have been on the shooting hand side of the shooter. Memphis played it too casually, IMO....not enough of a challenge.

don't know who i'd rather see Lakers play. Dallas is probably the "better" team, but Lakers always have problems with Portland (and the Bobcats for some reason), especially in the Rose Garden.

as I type this Dallis is up by like 15 in the 3rd, so it looks like they might pull this off, but they've been up by more going into the 4th before and then got Roy'd

Can't believe Dallas pulled that off. I'm giving it to the Lakers, though. If the Mavs somehow ever beat the Lakers in the series, I'd shave my head.

Apparently, for the Mavs- Laker series, Caron Butler might be back.

I doubt he'll be up to speed, but gotta give credit where credit is due. The Mavs have alot of depth on the perimeter, and a bunch of big guys that match the Laker in size (but not skill, excluding Dirk of course).

It'll be a fun series...Cuban and Phil will trade barbs, and things are already testy between a couple of the players.

I predict the Spurs in 7. I think the Griz gave up there chance of winning this series with letting game 5 get by them. I think that woke up the Spurs and I think they will win easily tonight and game 7.

I thought the Spurs had more in them but apparently they didn't time to breakup this current crew. Duncan is an average players now, Manu has got no more magic, Parker is still good, Mcdyess is Mcdone time to rebuild if they want to win again like before but I really could care less if they do because that's just one less team for the Lakers to worry about.

Grizzlies beat OKC 3 out of 4 times during the season so lets see what they can do in the Playoffs. We could have a Lakers v Grizzlies Western Conf Finals with Gasol v Gasol.
