Even the 16x National Basketball Association CHAMPION LOS ANGELES LAKERS can't win 'em all.
yes it'll suck and yes it'll hurt, but there's always next year.
who i don't want to win:
boston...eff boston, celtics suck! :tonguefaw
miami...wade is cool, but eff lebron!
dallas...for obvious reasons,... mark cuban is so annoying, and to quote FULL METAL JACKET, "only steers and queers come from texas!" :gheyfight:
okc...because of perkins (former celtic), eff that!
memphis and atlanta don't have a shot so that leaves chicago...
chicago is like w/e to me so it wouldn't bother me one bit if they took it all. they're anonymous to me...almost like it never happened.

^^He's legendary and all, but that's a pretty big deficit against a team that was pretty much specifically designed to beat the Lakers.
I'm just unsure how they'll (the Mavs) do against the next teams they'll face.
Its pretty much the end of the latest Celtics/Lakers era....It'll be interesting to see how comes back first, but the Celtics pretty much admitted their run was done when they traded Perk.

^^Phil is interesting....I think he's done with the Lakers. But if Spoelstra doesn't work out with Miami, I think Phil's name will come up. This is me saying that, not Phil. Not 'hating' on my fellow filipino, Spo either. I just think if Phil's career ends like this, he'll get the itch to come back.

dang westbrook really hasn't impressed me much these playoffs. He seems to think he can take over a game all by himself, which I'm not sure he can do yet, and is especially boggling when you have KD on the wing, who might be the best in the game at that. I feel like Westbrook has started doing crossovers at the 3 pt line, trying to break his man down until there are 10 sec left on the clock, and either pulls up for a ugly 3, or drives to the elbow and pulls up.

I told everyone that predicted sweep the Celtics are not done. It was 80 to 80 in game 2. I just want a split in Boston and preferred a game 3 win to put pressure. Now the pressure is on us again and KG finally did what we was supposed to do. Let's see if we adjust.
Man I've never seen Phil Jackson so pissed. I think one of the players was sort of pulling Phil off of Pau. Sportscenter was Pointing out how bad his defense was on some plays. Dirk is on fire.

? shaq was playing pretty solid minutes at the beginning of the year when perk was still out. Got injured, came back, played all of like 2 plays in a game before he got injured again. Still looks like he's hobbling. As much as I didn't really like shaq as a laker, it's sad to see a hall of fame talent get old. I have a feeling he might seriously consider hanging them up after this year.

wow, lakers still looking bad like 5 minutes in. Kobe looks alright, but everyone else looks pretty bad, especially gasol. Kobe might have to go for 100 points haha.

And I'm so surprised by Pau. I thought he was one of the Lakers top guys & I'm assuming that once (ok, if) the Lakers get swept in 4, he's going to get a lot blame.

This Dallas team basically consists of pieces from teams that have had success in the past several seasons but no Championships.
Kidd from the 2 years the Nets went to the Finals
Marion from the Nash/Stoudamire Suns team
Peja from the Sacremento Queens
Chandler from the 07/08 Hornets
Butler from the Failed Laker team a couple of years ago
DeShawn from the Wizards that lost to the Cavs a couple years ago
IMO its a well put together team. Marion, Chandler, Butler and DeShawn definitely brought some toughness that was missing from this Maverick team over the past few seasons.

Pau going to get a ton of heat for playing so poorly in the series.If the Lakers lose tonight, this Laker team is done - other than Kobe, everyone else is expendable.
