On Saturday the whole stadium seemed like it was booing Joe Nathan's ball pitches at the end. But I think all 40,000 were yelling at Milton Bradley.

I was about 100 feet to your left by the warmup mound. I saw a bunch of Twins fans, a couple with the powder blue retro jerseys, giving him shit. Bradley was a good sport though, moving his arms like a conductor to your chants.

To bad I didn't know you were there, I would have let you buy me an Old Style and a Chicago Beef Sammy loaded w/cheese and peppers!

Poor Dontrelle on the 15 day for anxiety disorder. Bad thing to happen to a great kid.
Finally Blackburn gets a win and a nice on at that. I have him on my Fantasy team and he just couldn't get a W.

Blackburn is very solid, he just hasn't gotten a lot of help from his hitters. Hell, with the exception of Lariano (ironically), all of our starters are pretty damn solid...

Even Liriano has thrown three decent games in a row now. I'm not sold on Perkins yet. Hell, the rookie Swarzak throws 7 shutout innings vs. Cubs and they send him to AAA.

The line I just read from the Daily Herald:
Sox broadcaster Steve Stone on Soto's 3-run blast: "He smoked it."

So no rants about the All Star picks? I'm happy with Josh Johnson and Hanley obviously. Johnson is truly an ace. If it weren't for that surgery from a couple of years ago he'd be more heralded.

Hey, Biscotti...the Phils scored 3 TDs (including one 2-point conversion) on your beloved Reds. YOU LIKE THAT...?!??

And oh look, my Cubbies are ahead of your Pinks in the standings.
...that's with Big Z playing like he has no brain, Milton Bradley playing without any of his marbles...
Just wait until Z plays with SOME brain and Milton gets 1 or 2 marbles back.

Pfft, no chance for the wait-til-next-year Cubs. We'll win the division when we get our new manager

Looks like the Blue Jays are looking to trade Halladay. Funny thing is, Yanks and Red Sox will have to pay a lot more than other teams outside of the AL East if they want him.
I say he goes to Philly.

^ I say ChiSox try to trade for the Doc.

I read that they were interested. He does have a full no-trade clause, but he says he won't deny a trade to a contender and somewhere he likes.
I'm still pissed that the Reds passed over Gordon Beckham in the draft (went 8th to the Sox) and he's already in the bigs, while our guy Alonzo we picked at #7 is injured.
