With Bruney out, we need our bullpen to step up, but so far, not so much so.

I went to the New Yankee stadium last night for the Angels game. Wow that place is amazing, I like it just as much as Citifield.

Yes, It's really nice. I went for one of the first games when they played Indians. Had great seats. Def a fans ballpark.

They were giving away tickets for the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar in center field. Real nice bar, and you watch the game like you're playing center field.

Just bought tickets for Tuesday's night game against the Sux, sorry I meant Sox. $90 bucks a pop, not bad at all!

I was hoping Garza would throw a perfect last night.

Either way, he looked great.

And with Bartlett hitting .360 they keep reminding me of the crummy trade the Twins made two years ago.

However, we get Joe Mauer back tonight.

^ Nice

We were going to go to Reds/Cardinals tonight but I'm glad I didn't get tickets because it's supposed to rain. Might go Sunday though...discounted tickets through work

Oh and Micah Owings (pitcher) blasted a triple into the gap last night. Last I heard he has a career .351 batting average with a good amount of at-bats. I hope Dusty keeps using him more and more as a pinch hitter.

A record was set.

Cool Zero! My wife and I went Saturday, which was another loss against the A's, but a good game. The roof paid for itself that game, because it was pissing down rain the entire time.

That's great you got to see King Felix pitch, though it wasn't his best outing. What are your impressions of the Safe?

The 12 runs in one inning? Not a bad frame.

Dom DiMaggio passed away at 92. He was a fine player in his own right.

The stadium was awesome. I was just in awe for the whole game.

What a great game too, yea the M's lost, but it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game. It was also 1/2 price ticket night and 1/2 price food night. What a great concept.

I love the fact their was a Starbucks in the stadium too.

I hope they got enough gas in their tank to add another banner to the rafters. It looks pretty empty up there.

That's great man. I feel the same way about the park. It's one of the gems in all of baseball. The more you go back the more cool things you find to enjoy. All kinds of neat little baseball touches everywhere. Coming from the Kingdome, this must be heaven.

I didn't get to explore everything I wanted to because I got their late and wanted to watch Felix pitch. I guess that just means I need to schedule a trip back.

Next on the bucket list: Qwest Field for a Seahawks game.

Looks like it's right across the street. It's cool how you can still see the rain outside past the outfield when the roof is closed.

I hear tickets are hard to come by for Seahawks games. Hopefully Hasslebeck stays hurt so I can see my man Seneca Wallace do his thing.

I can't believe Gay-Roid just homered on the first pitch he saw all season.

Baker used Owings to pinch hit in the bottom of the ninth yesterday and he homered to tie it and send it into extra innings. Guy is a monster

Too bad we couldn't sweep the Cards though

Bobby Jenks fined $750 for intentionally throwing behind Ian Kinsler

Asked if the two-out, ninth-inning pitch to Kinsler "got away from him," Jenks replied without hesitation:

"Yeah, I wanted to go in and send a message, and I think that message was sent.
Basically I was saying, 'I'm sick of seeing our guys get hit and hurt and almost get taken out of the game.' I threw it with intention."
$750, seriously??? He was stupid for admitting it, but why even fine him? If the league and Bud Selig wants to send a message, they should've suspended him or hit him with a bigger fine.

The idiots were the White Sox announcers going ballistic on the umpire for issuing a warning. Everyone in the house knew it was intentional except for the homer clowns in the booth with some 50 years of experience.

IMO it should have ended at the ump's warning...the fine was pointless

Yeah surprisingly, at least for me. Both he and BJ Upton were out at Saint Saturday night. I saw both of them there. Garza sitting on a couch hitting on some blond who didn't seem too interested.

Hmm... according to Wikipedia he is married... oops...

I have no idea why he was out at a nightclub the night before he was pitching to the Red Sox...
