Well, it probably goes to show that Peaves is chicken-shart to pitch in the tougher AL...

the Sox need to get rid of Contreras and Colon. Floyd just needs to work on his control. All I know is Peavy doesn't belong in Chicago either with the Cubs or Sox. He said he's a CA guy. Why don't the Padres then deal him to the Angels or A's?

He wants to stay in Cali in the NL? That means same division. Nobody does that shit. If this is true then he's a moron.

The Padres would never do that...they're in the same division.

If he cares about winning anytime in his career he'll get out of San Diego. Look at their draft history the past decade or so...they're gonna be bad for a long time.

Especially if that AL team gets beat 20-1 on the day he's making up his mind.

Peavy will still get traded before the deadline IMO, but he wants it to be to a NL team and a contender...the Sox are neither, even in that crappy division.

It's a sign that the ChiSox doesn't want a pansy NL pitcher. They lost to your Twits on purpose.

Right. That or the fact that the White Sox suck drove him away.

Well, this is a peachy spring...My Hawks are a game away from getting eliminated by my most hated hockey team, the Detroit Red Wings.

And then, I turn for solace in baseball to see that the Cubs are mired in a 8-game losing streak...and the ChiSox can't pitch after Beurhle.

At least it's not his back. Crede's hand looks like a car ran over a grapefruit.

Is it bad if your team sends out their pitcher as a pinch hitter?

The cubs broke their losing streak. Who knows what would of happened if the game played out though.

Today, I'm hoping for a Redsox lost and a Yanks win to tie the division.

p.s. Greinke is still an animal.

And yeah, I think he's gonna get a suspension for bumping the ump.

Yea, that upsets me. Not that I'm a huge brave's fan, but he was a image for that franchise. I'm sure someone will pick him up, just not sure who yet.

Big unit going for 300 tonight. Hope he gets it, he def deserves it!

Edit: How would you like to make a million in day?

Geez I can't believe someone dropped Quentin in my league. Unfortunately the 1st place guy has 1st place in waiver priority and he's kicking everyone's ass.

I'm hoping the A's pick up Glavine. These young pitchers need some wisdom and advice to keep them on track with their development. Who better than a future HOFer?

i'm still very sad and upset with the way the braves' management handled the situation.

i'm going to assume it was wren that was responsible for the handling because schuerholz has always been a classy guy, and he came on the radio the day after to publicly apologize for the way it went down and said he (glavine) deserved better. yes, he deserved much better.

it's a horrible way to go out if he never pitches again. i just don't think there are going to be any teams that will be interested in a 43 year old pitcher with a bad shoulder and elbow. but if he's willing to join a team in some sort of mentoring capacity, he can be huge.

Yeah, I don't know who's to blame but the past few years the Braves have been losing it as a franchise. Kind of embarrassing really.

In the end they're just hurting themselves since free agents won't want to sign there and current players won't want to re-sign if they know they might be treated bad (unless the $ is too nice to pass up), so

Somebody might pick him up late in the year for a run to the playoffs if he stays in shape, hopefully.
