wanna switch shoes? try dealing with whiny "in your face" white sox fans everyday, terrible luck, and the frustration of being laughed at by a corporation that is getting what it wants for nothing. what a business the cubs are for the trib; shit product, one of the best output of fans in sports.
edit; nevermind, your a Reds fan. Biggest one-sided rivalry in baseball. Apparently you guys consider us rivals? were we supposed to return the favor?

I don't think we're rivals but I do agree there's people around here that do think that. I'm more of a Reds-Astros rivalry kind of guy myself
And I hope you guys know I was kidding about you being drama queens. (hence the smiley) I'm about the least serious person on this board...I was just trying to start some crap to get this thread interesting again.

And speaking of the Astros, I guess Bagwell went ahead and unwillingly retired or what? I know the Astros didn't want him but I haven't heard about anyone trying to sign him Maybe I missed something.

Go ChiSox!
Although, I am rather surprised that it's the Tigers nipping at their heels instead of the Indians...Go figure.

yeah, The Reds consider the Cubs arch rivals for the most part, which I found out after my life as a Cubs fan, just 2 years ago

Wow, is he the worst pitching signing since Chan Ho Park with the Rangers?

And I wonder how many starts Wood will have this season before he injures himself...?
Bets start at over/under 1 start.

That being said, I still stand by my opinion that the Cubbies should trade Wood...

[b]Wood has sore shoulder[b]
By Paul Sullivan
Kerry Wood's sore right shoulder may prevent him from making his scheduled start on Tuesday in Florida.
Prior to Sunday's game at U.S. Cellular Field, Cubs pitching coach Larry Rothschild could not discount the idea of Wood being skipped a start.
"It's possible," Rothschild said. "But we'll have to see. It may not be even that (long). It may be quicker than that. He may be ready to go, so we'll see."
With an off-day on Thursday, the Cubs could move Wood back in the rotation until sometime next weekend against Atlanta. He's scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday, which would seemingly mean at least a one day delay until Wednesday.
Wood experienced soreness after his first start Thursday, following 8 ½ months of rehabbing his shoulder after arthroscopic surgery.
Are the Cubs concerned about Wood's health?
"There's concern because you'd like it to go smoothly, but with shoulders it's not going to go smoothly," Rothschild said. ."You just have to check out what the best thing is for him to get through this. We knew coming up these possibilities exist."
