If it doesn't happen in the AL East, does it really even matter ??

Bitter much about the stomping the ChiSox inflicted on your team last year...?

A not-so-good pitcher who will become even worse when he starts pitching in Boston. Fenway is like Coors Field for the AL.

How about those Seattle Mariners? I had to stay up late last night to catch the end of their game against the Dodgers. We don't get much West Coast coverage around here.

Felix Hernandez is on the mound against the Dodgers tonight, should be a great game.

Well, considering the Tigers play like kittens against the strong teams in the AL (i.e. ChiSox, Yankees, BoSox), I think their division lead and record won't last.

I'm also banking on a ticked off Cards team to slap around the Cats in the upcoming series.

Ortiz does it again... this time it's a RBI in the 12th... the day before, it was a homerun in the 10th... Gotta love it...

The Bosox have 9 straight wins over the NL teams they have faced over the last 9 games. Now it's time for the Mets

Ortiz is the anti-Arod.

One can't hit in the clutch and the other thrives in it.

I just heard on the radio that ARod bats .350 with 2 outs and men in scoring position.

Yeah Arod does. And he does do clutch. One of the Yankee leaders in game winning & game tying RBI's. He's very stressed at home. He has a much better road record then home. In NY if fans would stop putting so much pressure on him & supporting him at home he'd play better.
Still don't like Arod, but it's still a fact.

Dodgers trade for Mark Hendrickson (RHP) and Toby Hall (C) from the Rays for Jae Seo and a minor leaguer...

Hendrickson has had some great outings this year. Jae Seo had a good year last year with Atlanta but totally sucked this year. Toby Hall was batting in the .300's but he was down to .230?

A-Rod should have taken the Bo Sox offer instead of the Yanks

Why? I think the BoSox are way better off without A-Wad.

I'm not sure if A-Rod or the Sox would be better off had he taken the offer; but it has to be far easier playing for the Sox than the Yanks.

The amount of shit that A-Rod get's (some of it is deserved) is pretty pathetic.

Of course A-Rod hits a walkoff while my post is still on the top of this page.

But who cares?! The Red Sox are en fuego - 11 games in a row, tied with the AL record for consecutive error-less games and not showing signs of quitting.

Oh, and the AL makes the NL look AAA.
