But, yes...Canada has nothing else to show for highlights.
And if you still are not convinced, just try to imagine all that done by someone in a Pens uniform. You'll feel better.

I'm not Kane's biggest fan either...but, that was a freaking amazing shootout goal. If it made the highlight of the night pretty much for all the sports shows up here.

Now if he beat up the goalie over the 12 cents he owed him, now that would have been something

No doubt it was pretty cool....but amazing...
I wouldn't rank it in the top 10 of amazing shoot out goals.
Kid just slowed down the stick handling/fake....cool, but not amazing.
He would have looked foolish of the goaltender did not bite on the fake.

Sorry, I'm sure Voynov would've done it better. Like, banked it off the scoreboard, the ref's face, Murray's @$$ and into the net.

Mike Milbury is in some hot water. What the hell is wrong with hockey parents?

Former Boston Bruins coach Mike Milbury is facing charges after allegedly grabbing and shaking a 12-year-old who was playing in a hockey game against his son last week, Brookline police said today.
Mike Milbury in New York earlier this year (Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)Police are seeking charges of assault and battery on a child, threatening to commit a crime, and disorderly conduct.
“Mike Milbury denies any allegations that there was an assault of any kind. He simply intervened in an altercation between his son and an opposing player. No one was struck, no one was injured, and no one was threatened,” said Daniel Rabinovitz, Milbury’s attorney.
The incident occurred on Dec. 9 at the Jack Kirrane Ice Skating Rink at Larz Anderson Park, where Milbury was acting as assistant coach for the Boch Blazers, one of the teams in the game, police said. Milbury’s son plays on the Blazers.
Brookline Police Captain Thomas Keaveney said it is alleged that there was some talk back and forth between Milbury’s son and the 12-year-old boy on the other team and that talk caused the former Bruins player and coach to come on the ice and grab the 12-year-old.
Milbury allegedly grabbed the boy by his shirt collar, picked him up, and shook him before some other coaches stepped in and broke it up, Keaveney said.
The boy did not require medical attention, but Keaveney said an investigation began the next day when a parent who had seen the incident called police.
Keaveney said it’s his understanding that Milbury is out of town right now, but he will be summonsed for a hearing before a clerk magistrate at Brookline District Court, who will determine if there is probable cause for the charges to go forward.
Keaveney said that with four children of his own that have played sports, it didn’t surprise him to hear about the alleged assault.
“I’ve seen a lot of irresponsible things done by adults and Mike Milbury is no different in my mind. Now, again, these are just allegations that he committed this,” he said.
Milbury is a former NHL player, coach, and general manager, and currently a studio analyst for NBC’s NHL “Game of the Week.” He is also an NHL analyst for NESN in Boston and TSN in Canada, according to a biography posted on msnbc.com.
Milbury played 11 seasons with the Bruins. In his first season coaching, 1989-90, the Bruins went to the Stanley Cup finals. After a second season, he went to the New York Islanders, where he rose to be general manager and senior vice president, the biography on the website said.

I hate taking stuff from Poo's website....but this one is for Yummy:
The Devils and Kings are talking once again...
The Devils like Voynov a great deal...The Kings are keeping lines open at least because if Parise becomes available the Kings (and Leafs) would jump to front and center.

Dominant win by the B's today, game winning goal was scored 27 seconds into the 1st period but they decided to add 5 insurance goals just in case.

Well, the Grave Robber's team sure did a number on the Funeral Director's team.
chips and smokes, lets go
I don't get you guys who didn't like the Kane goal. Anytime you beat the goalie and can shoot into the open net is a beauty goal IMO. Kane has sick hands.
LFG RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I wore my newly acquired jersey to the game last night. The Rangers scored with 0.0000006 (or so) seconds remaining in the game and won.
It was a sloppy not very good game but we shut up the Coyote fans that were saying the Rangers sucxors.

Great win by the guins last night, nothing like getting Ryan Miller pulled, only to have him come back in the 2nd and give up 2 more goals. Sucks that half our team is out, but with Malkin scoring HT's, life is good

I didn't say AMAZING!!!. But yes, when you can make the goalie bite on the fake and shoot into the wide open net, that's a beauty goal IMO. Key words: wide open net.

Well, hopefully he comes back for your team soon. Him and Kopi were pretty much the offense...
Still can't believe that roster has such a popgun offense though. Hope Sutter proves the doubters wrong...If anything, I think he's a solid coach. Maybe they'll respond to him.
The sizzle in the Steak
^^ system did the team in....that and a coach with ZERO emotion or intensity.
They tuned out the system that did them in....and they got soft.
If anything, Sutter will bring the fire at the very least.

^ Yeah...I think so.
Although, sorry...don't count on any response from Penner.
