Is there not a goalie interference rule? They keep running into Lundqvist.

Has there ever been more poorly played playoff hockey than this Pitt - Philly series?

From undisiplined play to bad defense to terrible goaltending. It's like a Leaf season all wrapped into 4 games.

Touchdown and a field goal against a field goal

Great game, definitely saw the team that I've been watching all season last night.

And it does not help that the fastest hockey player is suspended. I don't think it is speed, I think Callahan needs to motivate the effen team that seemed to run out of air in the 2nd period.

I know that back in NYC, the crowd will repump the team, but can they do it for 2 straight games? It would be devastating for a #1 seat on East to lose to, ahem, Canadians

Great 1st, terrible 2nd and 3rd. Why can't they maintain at least some sort of momentum EVERY TIME they get the friggin lead????

Its like after they take a lead they go into the NFL equivalent of PREVENT defense. so pissed!

Pens & Flyers have a combined 45 goals in 4 games.. that's got to be some kind of record isn't it?

The first 3 games of the series was tied for 3rd all time I'm sure it's higher now, just the stat I saw last night. I'm sure the Pens' 10 goals last night helped push them up a bit

Yeah, record for two teams that decided to show up to the playoffs without defense or goaltending.

Just read this online
In fact, the 45 goals scored through four games in this series is an NHL record

Schneider was like a wall last night.
Add to that the Kings being a bit undisciplined and giving the Nucks too many PP...and there went the Kings lead in the game.

Kings have to get their PP going.

Bounces went the Nucks way last night from what I saw. I think it may go to Game 6.

Now, excuse me while I go stress out about the Hawks/Bettmans tilt tonight. Chicago better win or it's Phoenix on to Round 2.

He is fucking ghetto because only a fucking low life would continue to hit a man who is already down. I'd kick the living shit out of him. People with no class don't belong in professional sports.

That's been happening left and right from both teams in that series.

All of Pennsylvania is ghetto

So a good portion of the players in the league are ghetto...eh?
...because this is the first time this has happened and nobody else does this.

I guess. I don't know. I've been paying attention to Simmons since Winter Classics... Just watch him play, he is 'the' instigator, the hit and run... anyways.

He's an agitator...that's what he brings to the game. There are some who take it to a whole different tier where it crosses the line (i.e. see Raffi Torres, Alex Burrows)...I don't watch Simmonds enough to be able to comment what type of player he is.

But, I do know that all teams needs this type of player. Someone who is just annoying to the other team to play against and can draw penalties and also score the odd goal...
