Sorry about your team, Rounder. But, they are finished...completely unravelled...they may win one or two but there is no coming back from this deficit.

And they also have made @$$clowns of themselves and did no favours in trying to change the perception that they are dirty and crybabies.

They did show that the league owes John Tortorella $20,000 back with some interest.

Teeing off, are you?

And someone needs to tell Sid if he wants to fight and be the honorable player he is being marketed as: take off the freaking helmet/visor. It's not like Giroux is the second coming of Dave Semenko.

I really want to hear from the bulk of the analysts that pegged them to win it all. (not that they can't still do that)

They were my favorite coming out of the East.

I mean, look how good they played without Sid all year and so, you had the guy come back, you would expect them to be even better.

But, anyhow...that's why you play the game.

^^^Amazed that Carkner only got one game. Maybe a little old fashioned justice from John Scott after the suspension is served, maybe he can decide to "continue to inflict punishment" if Carkner is a "unwilling combatant."

BS suspension, if you look at all the other playoff discipline or lack thereof this last week.

Pens are done. This has been a nightmare. I don't really have any comments, our D is horrendous, no discipline, can't stop the cross ice passes for easy tap in goals... I could see 4 of those goals happen as soon as they crossed the blue, and sure enough, bang easy one timer because the pass gets across.

Asham probably gets 1 game. Neal, probably $2,500 fine, no suspension.

Flyers got under the Pens skin and this is what happens. They just have our number.

Watching the CBC broadcast and well, here's something for you that's food for thought: They are pointing out that NONE of the Flyers have gone after Sid's head. Not once. So, they may be "getting to him" somehow, but at least they know where to draw the line. The panel also pointed out where Sid went after Timmonen for no reason. The glove stunt was stupid too. They said if that was done to him, he probably would've gone ballistic. Is this the way Sid should be playing? Like I said, he's the Pens' leader and he's playing like this...no wonder they are getting TDs scored on them.

Once the Pens are out, this Cup run is wide open. Any team can win it because the best team on paper is out.

sick hit by Brown on the sister.

nice dive by Kesler, lol.

I heard that Hartnell told Sid the only way he's leaving the arena is on a stretcher.

If he did, Hartnell sure didn't hit Sid's head when he had the chance in their scrum in the 3rd.

They spent several minutes discussing the Pens/Flyers game today and most are saying your team just are acting stupid and completely lost their brains. If the Flyers really wanted to, they would've gone headhunting on Sid.

Weber from Nashville gets a $2,500 fine with no suspension for bashing a guy's head in repeatedly.....I think 3 games is BS for Hagelin. one game max

I could understand if there were a history of violence or he was someone that gets lots of penalties but neither apply and I agree 3 games is excessive, especially with Carkner getting one when both are applicable.

I get that Boyle was not hurt and Alfredsson was but come on.

These playoffs have been awesome!

President's Trophy winners down 0-3.
Predators up on the Red Wings.
Amazingly entertaining series between the Pens and Flyers (20 goals in 3 games!?)
All other series evenly matched up.

I'd enjoy the playoffs more if officiating was better and fair. Blind f@cks.

And even though I think Flyers are assholes, I'd love to see them knock a few teeth out from Cindy... He should quit the sport and start impersonating Freddie Mercury.

Do they make Neal walk out of the office and back in for his second meeting?

Does it frustrate you that everytime the Rangers get a 1 goal lead, they totally stop forechecking and are content to play the game at their end?? It's happened all year and maybe thats why so many of their wins have been just by 1

So, where's Waldorf today? He still comatose from the fact his team is 1 win away from sweeping the Prez Trophy winners?

Goes to show: The Prez Trophy is the poison pill.

And the Cansucks are reaping all the bad karma they generated with cheapshots, biting, hair-pulling, and kneeing of groins...

I wonder if Asham and Neal are getting fines or actually suspended for their despicable actions.

re: Asham/Neal.

No way in HELL Neal gets suspended, if Weber didn't get suspended. Players didn't even get injured or miss a shift on those hits, and the Courturier hit wasn't dirty, just late.

Asham is fucked. I see 6-9 games. Match penalty is an attempt to injure. They will throw the book at him. Not our problem though, he won't be a Pen next season.

Been busy this weekend, first time I've touched a comp since Friday, Pens are playing right into the Flyers hands, responding to all the cheapshots, and retaliating when they shouldn't. Asham's hit was completely inexcusable. Been a tough series to watch thus far. The refs sure could have controlled the games a lot better than they did.
