My first Ranger jersey was never customized, the guy I have been buying new ones from for a few years posts his work on IG & had a bunch of people send him old jerseys. I asked what year it's from (knew early 90's but was not sure) he said it's 94 eligible so It's in a box waiting for the mailman to take it to New Jersey to get Richter & a Stanley cup patch. Woot!

Yeah, agree. And this is more so magnified by the way Kadri plays -- physical. So, that type of game will eventually wear down quickly.
Not much you can do when negotiating with the more talented players...they all want term.
He finally started to learn to play a bit better skill game last year. Depending on the cost at the end of the deal it might not be terrible. If only like 4mil I think he can still produce like 50pts per season with power play time while losing his physical play ability has he ages.
I did not want him for that many years in Colorado. I didn't want him for more than 3-4 at most and it was unlikely anyways due to this unfortunate flat cap area we ended up in. Sucks having that happen right in the middle of our window with needing to resign so many contracts.
He was already a terrible person last year in Carolina by cheating on his wife and breaking up an engagement while in Carolina. However, this, if confirmed is just beyond awful.

Personally I think they are the team to beat in the west. I think overall they are a notch ahead of Colorado. Their depth at center is insane. We are really going to miss Kadri and I hate that the cap is now rumored to go up 4mil as we could have kept him then.
When they did not score with over a minute 4-3 I knew the game was lost. It's more frustrating seeing as the second goal was 100% Igor's fault (he admitted as much) I mean come on if you leave the net you damn sure need to control the puck.

Yeah, the puck miss handle reminded me of the occasional bad puck play back in the Roy days for Colorado. That said I would love to have a goalie again that can play the puck the way Igor can. It is so rare anymore I feel compared to 20 years ago.

Don't get me wrong, he's amazing & will make up for it all year. He will win more games than he loses because he is great, it's just annoying having lost the previous 2.
