Hey anyone else feel the earthquake at 7:51 this morning? It was a 3.5M near Mossyrock, WA. Pretty spooky as my co-worker and I were debating the strength of this old piece of shit we work on. At least we are on the 4th floor, unlike my other co-workers who will be crushed in the basement.

EDiT: SHIt! I just remembered that I have to go down there for a couple hours today!

Guns? If the big one comes you're gonna need the Iron Man suit. I've got a pretty good EP kit at home with all the goodies but I probably will not be able to get it when my garage collapses from all the shit I've got stored on the ceiling.

Looters? Where do you work? I'm not going to be able to go home because my car will be under three stories of concrete in that parking garage. In the event of a catastrophe, I was planning on taking a massive dose of pain-killers and just drifting off to sleep. Unfortunately, I took most of them already and I need more than three just to get a buzz.

Wow, I'll bet you felt that old pile move during the quake this morning. That place always seemed like such an odd building and it creeps me out a bit. I don't have a gun right now, and I'm not sure what to get. I've owned two semi auto pistols, and while they both had good qualities, I want something different this time. I've thought about a shot-gun and a pistol too.

shotgun will get the job done everytime.. i have a mossberg 500 with the rubber pistol grip and 20 inch barrel.. i have zero complaints about it. some people call it the starter shotgun cause its cheap.. i call it my home protector cause i want to make sure who ever breaks in will be shitting size 10 when im done with them.. if you want a decent pistol there is always a desert eagle.. ammo is expensive but its one of my faves to shoot dont waste your money on the 50 cal just get the 44 it will put a hurt locker on someone.. i personaly only have 1 pistol left which is my tec-22.. =) its fun when its shooting correctly and i can go through ammo like no tomorrow..

ive honestly been thinking of getting the NHM-91 as the next peice of the puzzle. i think i mentioned that earlier its basicly a chineese ak-47 with a chrome lined barrel so it alittle beefier problem is trying to locate one since they stopped making them

USGS has upgraded today's earthquake to a 4.2. That is a perfect triangle with the other two that occurred on the outside edge of the juan de fuca plate. They were; 4.2 yesterday 130 miles West of Coos Bay, and 4.4 Wednesday 200 miles west of the Olympic Peninsula. Spooky.

The USGS said those Magnitude 4.0+ only come once every 10 years or so. Hmm, 3 in one week. Do you think they would tell us? Probably not. I think I'll go visit the Geology department today and get a professors opinion.

I wouldn't go to the beach house for Christmas this year.

Hope we don't have any snow. I'm tapped out, so even if I had the patience to wait for tires I couldn't buy them. I asked Rod about the most likely time period for snow and he said that the records for the last 10 years show "inclement to problem weather" occurred between December 15th and January 10th.

Don't have your stockies anymore? And speaking of bad weather be sure to keep the ksports clean of de-icer. I think that caused alot of the seizing on the lock rings...

According to the Weather Channel, PDX has received 2.83" in the last 24 hours. If we don't get shaken to death, we're surely going to drown.

Avoid Subaru drivers, they seem to be the worst around here. The older drivers are too confident their AWD will save them, and the young ones too cocky and want to push their car too far.

Some really bad driving going on out there. I'm not sure if it's that we have so many cars on the road, or if they have been up all night smoking white shit out of a glass pipe. I've thought about adding push bars to the front of the RDX!
