Black is great at the start. This is my 4th or 5th black car and I love the look. The issue with every little scratch and ding showing really gets old. Next time around I think we will choose something like silver. But who knows....

Could not find the "Turbo Tube" commercial on anything yet. I saw it last night. It is just the engine at idle with a Giant (8ft diameter) tube filled with red smoke. Then the engine revs and turbo sucks it all in quickly like a hookah smoker on a bender. It's cool, I'll keep looking.

Every little scratch Moterhfwmaedfvaw! Someone busted out the right passenger side window while I was at UofO, because I had a black zip-up pick-a-nick blanket on the back seat that looks just like a 17" laptop case. The window was one thing, but I was amazed by how thin that paint on the door was. Shards of glass took it right down to the primer. I never got that fixed and now I regret it.

^ man it seems like your luck is just as bad as mine.. you should get a 2 way alarm on your vehicle then you will know when someone touches it.

My RL is white, but it's from the older school of paint. Four thick coats of the less environmentally friendly kind. The bumpers match the rest of the vehicle

and here i thought that the panels were done at different times or they used the wrong primer before painting.. i guess it makes more sense now.. but i just dont get why someone would think its ok..

How bizarre, she must have been drinking again. I can't remember a bar around there...Looks like its about 5 miles south of me. But I don't think it's in Aloha yet because there are still sidewalks (not a joke).

^ haha really? the plate on the sti looked out of state unless its a possible beaver plate?? havent really paid attention plate number is EFVS could look it up =)
not sure if its near aloha high or past it but it looks most likely south of it..cause thats where it turns into 1 lane mainly funny video though

Yes...That has been a consistent theme this month. Right now I holding 4 Ben's, so that if John Ferris at APEX has gotten the gold GM paint off the back bumper and the car is ready for pick-up today, I can go pay for it. Somehow I got stuck with the bill. WTF?

Buick granny got her Gold all in my Basque Red Pearl. Usually Gold and Pearls go really well together, but this is not so pretty. We should get it back today or tomorrow.

Oh, that explanation wasn't very clear. The TL is Carrie's. I'm the one who wanted a TL, I'm the one who pushed for the car, got the big color brochure, secured the loaner TL, and spent months on-line looking for the colors she liked. And what do I get...stuck driving the RDX. Don't get me wrong, I love that little beast. But I wanted the sedan and never get to drive it. And now that it needs work, I GET THE BILL for the repair. Even though she refers to it as her car. That's just not right.

^ i think so but then you gotta look at the vehicle too.. its not a van and its not a huge SUV.. its a mid sized turbo vehicle so im not sure if that would put you in a diff category

Scratch B gone. Got the car back last night. Good turn around (48hrs). Overall the job was pretty good. However, I could see the blend line and found 1 burst bubble. But I can fix that myself at home. No one else would notice, but the sad reality is I will always know it's not factory fresh. For some reason it hurts more that I didn't confront Granny while I had the chance. Ironically the gold Accord across the street got hit in a parking lot this week too.
PM me if you want John's info as they do 3M clear bra, Tint, rock chip, & wheel repair as well as bumpers.
