Wow, avoid that guy on HWY 26. No one needs a 2x3 in their windshield. Those Sentras either sold like hotcakes or just last forever. What is that a 1991??? That has got to be worth at least $700...$650 with the holes in the trunk.

You'll be amazed..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Sentra

Nissan Tsuru/V16 (1992–present)
The Mexican-made Sentra B13 is still sold in Mexico, parts of Central America and South America. Called the Nissan Tsuru in Mexico, Nissan V16 in Chile, Sentra B13 in Bolivia and Panama, Sentra Clásico in Peru and Dominican Republic, it is the same basic car only with minor cosmetic changes and mechanical downgrades to make it cheaper, such as non-power steering, downgraded interior trim, a downgraded braking system, and a mechanical clutch instead of a hydraulic one. More recent models have received a Renault-built hydraulic clutch. Its affordable price made it popular among local taxi drivers.

that'd be abp, he works right out there. About 1 minute away from where I work!

I'm usually coming on the shute off ramp around 7:00am, just not lately with the new baby and all. So if you ever see a PWP TSX, aspec, TL-S wheels, lowered that'd be me.

i knew it had to be someone on here. you've followed me from shute all the way to 26 east before. (a few times actually) and whenever i see you creepin far behind, i slow down to like 54 to see who or what your car looks like yet you still stay far behind thats cool though, i've had my share on tickets so thats why except for dark tint, everything on my car is legal (keeping front plates on, no loud exhaust, car not even lowered.) so i know how you feel. for that. anyway i'll probably see you around, i know i have for about 10< times

Brandon, everything for you is the wrong side of town, the job, the home etc... lol You just need to hurry up and move! Housing market isn't expected to get better for 2011 so it'll be a good year to buy.

Speaking of home buying, sellers rejected our counter offer. Massive bummer. Oh well, back on the hunt.

Moving to Helvetia in a couple years. So I will be speeding up and down those ramps several times a day. Grandma is not doing so well and we can get her 6 acres cheap from the family when she passes on. The house is in need of a complete remodel so I can use those tools that collect rust and dust in my garage. It will just be another 5 miles away and we wont have to deal with those neighbors that are 10 feet away anymore.

It is good to not get spotted and hopefully you are slipping under another radar if you know what I mean (2 tickets in 3 years here). They are bored and sometimes brutal on the south side of HWY26. Don't get me started.

that is a major bummer indeed.. im worried about how much we will be approved for on a second house loan.. wife and i were thinking over the weekend that maybe should wait till summer to get a new vehicle due to trying to finish the house and make sure we arent dinged for too many payments on vehicles which is a bummer for me =/ but im still gonna get a ruckus!!!

We will roll ruckus's hardcore (or as hard core as you can). Our mortgage officer told us the key is a low debt to income ratio so if you get a sweet deal on an RDX it shouldn't hurt you too bad. Or just start paying off your other cars if don't already own them.

Neighbor here is a mortgage officer, you're welcome to talk to him about it if stop by he's pretty legit.

Why do they get so emotionally attached to some metal, sticks, glass, and cement? My sister is sooo attached to my parents house that my mother, knowing that my sister would never let me sell it when they die, put it into a trust that divides all the family property up. Of course the real issue could be that my sister is a 40 year old deadbeat with two kids who still lives with my parents. Tell your wife the memories will move with you, you'll make new ones, or just tell her lies about the what a piece of junk that old house is (you know, "Honey we've got to get rid of this money pit...it needs a new roof, furnace, hot water heater. etc.") Otherwise, without steady rental income history, it will cost you when you go for the new loan.

You think so? I've lived on the south side of Sunset Hwy for the past 17 years and haven't had a ticket yet. :knocksonwood:

I did get pulled over twice though - in my own neighborhood! Once for not stopping completely at a stop sign; the second time for going 45 in a 25 mph zone (Airport Road, behind the Costco). The first cop was cool because I was bringing my son to basketball practice and he liked that; the second cop told me I should know better because I live just a couple of blocks away. My tags had expired too, so he gave me a warning for that. No ticket though!

Nice! Very lucky. I don't think I have ever done the speed limit on that or any road without snow.

More ramblings...
Don't forget to tell her that life is short and you both should enjoy it while you have the chance. According to the Mayan calendar, the date December 21st, 2012 A.D represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what the ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. This is an event that has been coming to resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT and could signal the end of the world as we know it, or a transition period into a new world. In fact, both the Mayans and Hopis recognize that we are approaching the end of a World Age. So, what are you waiting for??????? Besides, Stan (the guy with the aluminum foil hat and shopping cart at Pioneer Courthouse Square), says that we will all be debt free in the new period anyhow.

ive tried that one.. she doesnt want to sell cause the market is bad (which is what i get) but also she thinks of it as an investment.. which i wouldnt see her giving up for another 5 to 10 years

I do my best to drive the speed limit around the residential streets. Lots of kids around my neighborhood in particular. I am a bit more "spirited" once outside my own neighborhood.
