wouldn't be so bad if my boss didn't procrastinate everything!

So what would be the point of a BOV on a stock RDX? Less lag or something? I am not a turbo person.

That is scary. Seems like I've heard a few of those "One time we were on a logging road and..." stories.

Just finished up my Christmas shopping earlier today. Went to a small-ish shopping center, and I swear I almost got hit four times in the parking lot. Twice before I got into the store, and twice as I was getting out. One I barely missed because some dumbass woman didn't think it was necessary to look both ways before pulling into traffic.

Honestly, this is why I try to get all my shopping done before the season even starts.

Ok all you automotive guru's, just in time for the holidays two issues with the TSX:

1. when making a left turn over a bump I get a clunky sound from the rear passenger area. I don't think it's endlinks though because the car still handles normal and it's not a constant thump... ideas?

2. God forsaken driver side seat heater toggle switch light burned out $#*()#)@(!!!!!

toggle switch is easy to replace.. i got the lights at radioshack and replaced mine.. check to make sure its the connection though.. i notice sometimes when i turn my on it doesnt light up.. then i give it a love tap and it lights up..

the bigger issue you have would have to go more in depth with.. is it only when you are turning? or have you noticed it going straight as well over speed bumps? also does it have to be a speed bump? does it do it while just turning??

when you say constant thump do you mean it keeps making a sound after the initial first thump?

is it a popping sound by chance then a thumping sound?

Just one thump, only when turning over a bump or dip or with a moderate level of torque.

It could be kind of a popping sound. Hard to describe

I can't imagine bottoming out, h-techs don't lower it that much. But perhaps it is the bump stop...

Arent you on OEM shocks?? i know the springs are good.. but if you are on oem shocks they might have worn out on that one side which would cause a thunk noise when it over compresses.. did you try testing the shock to see the travel on it? (open your hood and press down on the inside fender to see how it travels) while youre at it turn the wheel and do the same thing.. see if you can reproduce the same noise

So I can't replicate it by pushing on it while parked. I inspected the shocks and they look good. Hmmm..

We'd need to preserve the bolts if it comes to that lol

so the thump noise only seems to occur after the car is warm. In the morning there is no thump at all but after driving for a while it slowly creeps its way in there....

You know it probably is a shock getting cranky that's causing it because I looked at the sway bar, fine, looked at endlinks, fine, exhaust is tight and hung properly, brakes look good, I mean there is nothing back there that could cause it but a damn shock !@$#@#@!

So may just have to deal with it until some cash flow rolls in.

^Nice. Did you use a Q-tip to clean that engine bay? Looks like purple chewing gum in a black wrapper!
